meet on Saturday
Is there meet this Saturday? Would you considered stopping by my neck of the woods, (Hortense), I'll cook/fry some wings and provide three cars to comment on, work on, or donate parts for.
leknaw69- where is that??? if it is just gonna be me (like it is lookin) then i might come over... i'll have to see... i have to be at work at 4am friday and saturday... i might be too tired... maybe the wife will let me get a nap...(:
Saturday
I am South of Jesup, off 301. I am about 1hr or so maybe 1 1/2 from Savannah on Highway 110. I have my SE working project almost done, a GSL with computer/electrical problems and an engine build-up project for an 83. Let me know if you will be stopping by and i'll pick up some more wings today.
leknaw69- i hate to say it. but if i have to be at work at 4. then drive 1.5 hrs there and back. then i may not make it... i would love to come out there on a saturday when i don't have to work, and make a day out of it!!! maybe mazdaspeed, rotarywall and darthrotary could share ride out there with me in the truck to have an engine building party!!! javier will be home soon, so if everyone buys a twelve pack of silver bullets, then we could have another engine building party then too!!! (caution- street tuning will only be done while sober!)lol (or with a designated driver)LOL
10-4
I understand, it sucks to work on Saturdays. I just recently started to have Saturdays off, so I am expending a lot of garage time. Everyone is wellcome whenever ou all get a chance. I always got a project going on. I also keep a spare build up kit in case of a need for an engine building party...

due too lack of interest in a meet this month i am going to stay home and work on getting my new radiator put in, and repairing the broken mount on my oil cooler... maybe next month there will be more interest...):
fjdrx7- as of right now it doesn't look like it is sold.. so you might want to jump and comtact this guy, for the roof you were looking for...

hood is off... all the fluids are drained... old radiator/ fmoc/ elec. cooling fan are out of the car... i saw a spider that was so friggin big that it could have taken me if it wanted too!!! so , i am calling it a night!!! plus it is a pain in the azz working in the dark... i'll try to hit it again tomorrow...
javier- the setup we put in your car is going to be a hot swap! now that it has been proven to be done, and in a timely manner. it maybe the forth gen that everyone wants!
darth- go ahead and order a se oil pan and mazda trix front mounting bar w/ either the poly or solid engine mounts. your 12a front cover can be reused. plus you will need a second gen water pump i believe (i almost said t2 water pump, but i don't think there is any difference in t2 and n/a).javier correct me if i am wrong on this.. also you will need to call fjdrx7 and find out what parts he needs before parting with anything.LOL this is gonna be an awsome transformation!

well i got my new radiator installed and cleaned my oil cooler up. hooked up all the lines and sensors. except water level sensor because mine broke when i was removing it from the old radiator. can you believe that neither advance nor pep girls has this sensor and they can't even order it?! d*mn the luck! i also still have a oil leak at the line coming from the rear of the motor connecting to the oil cooler. i tried a trick with the tread sealer on the crush fitting, but it didn't work. so i will pick up the new ones i ordered at the dealership on monday. they came in last week and i forgot to pick them up! i have a bad case of CRS (can't remember sh*t)!LOL
Not yet, been too busy with work stuff to be able to finish it. I finally got a little done on it this weekend, and hopefully a lot more in the coming week.
mazdaspeed7- well anyways this one looked like its owner let a dog climb on it. the front bumper and passenger side had fresh paint compaired to the rest of the car. the interior was nice. it is at jclewis.
