you got it. Oh, by the way, the little red car behind the rx7 in my picture is a 1986 toyota corolla GTS hatch. I am about to finally make it presentable because after some body work I will be priming it black this sat. I just had to say something because I am excited. Also, does anyone of you have a spare trans. for a 86 NA that they are willing to sell because the output shaft on mine is about to go and the shop said they can fix it but quoted me at a price for which I can get a rebuilt one........and I am just plain poor
this may or may not work and it's pretty old but here

What do you mean "USED TO BE HELD"???!!!
They normally run on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Has anything changed?
Im a member, I'll email the bucaneer region to find out if locations have changed.
OK I just checked everything is still on for this year, and they are still racing at Hutchinson Island

I guess I was wrong about that one. I heard that the area was going to be rebuilt because condos are going to be built aruond that area in the future. Now that I think about it, I've met you at auto-x before...I think. You and one other guy from the club were there with two 1st gens. Well, I guess I'll probably see you out there at the next event.

Little update -
Tim picked up his car today, but not under the best of circumstances.
Turbonetics warrantied the turbo due to "oil coking in the housing which caused an imbalance and wiped out the turbo" - we thought that would have solved the smoking problem, but it seems to be getting WORSE.
Dana had mentioned the Oil Metering Pump could be the issue - we checked the electrical voltage to / from the OMP and everything read in spec. Mechanically everything was ok, all the hoses and such.
We then checked all the vacuum lines and found them to be ok. No boost pressurizing the crank case or anything like that.
So, that really only leave the oil ring in the motor or the seals....he is going to take it somewhere (I wish you guys were in town) and have them look at it.

Sorry to hear that, sometimes we need to keep in consideration what the car is used for, a car that is use for race dont last for ever, and we now that, thats why racers have spare engines and spare parts, racing is not cheap and mainntaining a rotary power plant neither, my 2 cents.
So how is everybody, i will be at the house for arround 3 weeks, preparing myself for my next trip to sandland in May, lol, fun fun. The Magazine should be out in a few days, cant waith to see it, Dana, Ed,Ian see ya in a few
