Retarded Vibrations...

Okay so long story short my car is vibrating like hell when im driving 50MPH and up...
If I let off the gas the car does vibrate anymore, but if I put the car in nuetral while doing 50MPH+ the car vibrates...

When I say vibrates I mean it feels like the car is gonna fall apart. Any suggestions???

Ok i just drove the car and now im hearing little clicking noises, like metal on metal towards the front of the car... ughhhhh

Seems to get worst the faster I go...

I rotated the drive shaft into all 4 positions and the car is still shaking terribly... I'm kinda stuck.

I was going to say it could be your drive shaft. It says that you rotated it into all 4 positions... what do you mean by that?

i have the same problem right now. when i put my car on the lift. i had alot of play in the driveshaft. some of the techs said that my pinion bearing was bad. i have another rear end at my house rightn ow and it had very little play in it so im thinking that the pinion bearing is bad. thats how im going to start to try and fix it anyways.

in other words i rotated the DS faces. 4 faces, and each time I drove the car about 2 miles to check the vibrations... Still there even after the rotations.

If your driveshaft isn't properly balance rotating it isn't going to help, it wont help if it is slack either. In fact I dont see how it could help at all...

this was my biggest problem. its the ujoint in the driveshaft better replace it and then if it still does it check the wheel bearings.

I had same problem. It was the u-joints. I went to the nearest junk yard and bought the whole drive shaft with good u-joints for $20. Still running.

You're sure it's coming from the back right? And it is not a missing wheel weight or a flat spot?

don't mean to threadjack, but I definitely read DreamTheatre's post:
"I rotated the drive shaft into all 4 positions and the car is still shaking terribly... I'm kinda stuck."
as something to do with "pistons" instead of positions, and I think I almost cried a little bit. but then I realized that I can't read. God, I need sleep.
