If I can wake up Sunday morning (it will probably be a late night Saturday) I'll come out for the drive. Gotta keep myself off of those milk cartons....

I'll have to check my hotmail again. My friend Miwa in Japan sent me the schedule, but I don't remember when it is. She's already met him, at an event in Japan of course. I wish I lived there so I could stop by his shop anytime I want...but it might be kinda weird, some strange American dropping in all the time drooling all over the cars, haha. I wonder if they have restraining orders in Japan...

Damn, you are just all about some camping aren't you? HAHA

If I'm able to make this drive I'll have to meet someone at Char-Grill or somewhere. We could meet at the mall right on the Six Forks/440 intersection too if that works better. I'll know by Saturday if I'm gonna make it or not.

I THINK I might come, but I'm gonna have to take last. After what happened last time I'm still a little shaken.

I don't think I'm gonna make it for the drive. My parts don't come in until about Tuesday and even if I can get the old parts to work I'm not gonna have it realigned until later anyway. Oh well. Can we do another one again soon? Maybe next weekend before the meet, or the weekend after that?

Guys, time to dust off the printers and send some letters to our legislators against the bill to institute front license plates in NC:

Hell yeah I am. Sometime this summer I want to get a week or so off and walk at least the NC part of the appalachian trail.

Its a constant battle for me. Spend $1k on a new folding kayak, get a standalone for the FC... Go to deals gap and drive, go to delas gap and hike for 4 days. (driving will almost always win) I like being outside AND i like burning fossil fuels.

RRDI Drive
Sunday March 18th - 10:00am
Meet in Super Target parking lot behind Triangle Town Center - Click for google map
We'll take off shortly after 10:00 and head in a general north-east direction up Louisburg and then break off to some random roads in that generl direction.

Hopefully most can make it, if not there will be more.

10 is good! I know exactly how to get there. Plus I have to meet an 8club member outside Sear's at 3. So, I should be good to go. I think me and Keri are going to the Olive Garden for lunch if anybody wants to tag along.

They start racing around 8am I think. Let me check and see what classes are running then. If it looks like they may have some good racing I might head up there real early. Would like to get there before 11am in case they are letting people do parade laps in any event.

Well Guys I posted in my Honor my dad post. He comes home tomorrow from the Veterans hospital tomorrow.
I got me some therapy today...... or maybe Im crazy as my pop. I removed a perfectly good running engine from "tiffany"...... Hopefuly get the REW installed some time next week.

The wife came home at lunch we ate together...
At 5:00 she came home to see the car jacked up and the engine and tranny removed.

Her; How did you do that?

Me; Well when I was born they told my Mom she had a baby boy..... But I've grown to be a Man now. hahaha

Very nice relaxing day I can by myself pull the engine and tranny in about 2 to 3 hrs. I needed this,
Take care guys
thanks for the support and prayers. I might need a few prayers when I get "tiffany the terror' on the road

Hah! I've got an FD. I forgot you weren't at VIR for the RBQ when I took it up there.... I don't take it out much since it's pretty much pimped out.

Haha! Nah you're right, I'd love to have an FD, just can't afford one right now. To be honest I've never ridden in one either if you can beleive it. Sat in a couple but that's it. So next time you around take me for a spin!

^Was that this past year's RBQ? I was there for the 06 RBQ, that's when you took this pic right? I was just messing with you about being jealous. I'd be more than happy to take you for a spin though. And by the time that happens I'll be riding on new bushings, so it'll be nicer than before. I'm having a hell of a time getting my diff bracket out, haha.

Johny, it's great to hear your Dad is doing better, and that you've grown into a man haha. That cracked me up. Must be nice to be able to do all that by yourself in just a couple hours though.

Yeah, I have thought about getting an FD I looked for a blown one since I had the engine just sitting, but when I can pull the engine by myself in a couple hrs plus all the parts I have. Im sticking with the FC.
I wish they would make a 4th gen. (No offence 8 owners)

Im picking up dad in a couple hrs. whoo hoo.

When is the MD BBQ? If it's a weekend, which I assume it is, I'd be interested in going also. It would be a cool road trip.
