Damn, I thought we were doing the drive today? That sucks. I'm not coming up there again next weekend, that's too much driving and too much gas.

Eric, next weekend is the MSCCNC autocross. They have also added a half day feature at a lower price. Personally I'm going to do the whole day and have 12 runs (or more) with an instructor in the car (as needed). I'm looking real forward to seeing what I can learn from these guys since they are national level instructors.

Yeah I know Greg, I want to do that but I have to magically find some money first, ya know? haha Actually, I got some money yesterday from someone that owed me but I kinda wanna make sure I have food first, THEN sign up for the track time. That and I need to gain of few inches of room inside for the helmet. Are they loaning them or do I need to go buy one? What else do I need?

Just read it...they do loan helmets. Although I still have my power steering leak so they probably won't even let me drive out there. Oh well, hopefully they'll have another one sometime, and if not, I guess I'll just go to VIR.

Forgot all about Frankies, spent most of the day tinkering with the car. Got the Remote hardwire kit in yesterday for the Radar detector, so I fabricated the mount for that last night and installed it today. Also favbricated a mounting location for the Nav system, but still have a bit more to do on that to clean it up.
I'll be heading to CharGrill in about 30-45 minutes after I get cleaned up a bit. Hope to see ya'll there. And maybe we can get caravan over the Frankies depending on how late they plan on beaing there.

Hey, I just bought an Rx7 2 days ago,
I'm starting a swap on it so all of my spare time will be poured into it untill it is done, but once it's finished (er, well, running, no project is ever "finished" it seems) I'd be stoked about meeting some other RXers from the region.

I live in Greenville, but it's only about an hour's drive.

Welome and hope to see you soon. Drop in anytime even without the seven and check us out. We've got a lot of people in the Triangle area as well as other cities that show up to the meets all the time.

Rotary Karting series!

soooooooooooo I decided to un-lazy myself and upload some of the Britts and Battleships road trip photos. The driving shots are washed out due to glare from the sun on my windshield. I posted them anyway. See them here.

Hey Ben, do they have anything FDs there, and if so, how often do you go? It's gonna take me a while to compile the list and take you a LONG time to get everything. Plus I really don't have the money right now, haha.

Ha! On some of those pics, the thumbnail made me think the cars had a HUGE diffuser!

Well I've been building a twin turbo chevy 360, I WAS going to put it into a 196 Impaa, but after much taking apart of the Impala, I realized it's an ancident PoS that needs far too much work!

So I found a reasonably priced 87 GXL automatic, which will now be the new recipient of the TT360, and a T56 6spd.

I've got most of the stuff together now, so hopefully it'll all be in the car by new years, and maybe running by the end of Feb.

As for the 13B out of the GXL, I haven't decided, but I may stick it in an 83 Corolla 2dr or something simularly lightweight rwd and cheap after the RX7 is done, somethng will get done with it... eventually ^_^

Found two FCs (black '88 verts) at the Wendell junkyard. I think I'm going again sometime soon, so I'll take pictures of the cars. They had motors in them...

I'm tempted to try a compression test on THOSE engines, but I don't really know if they would even crank.
