I may just order it myself though if there's not going to be a discount with the GB. I mean, if it's gonna cost the same or more than just getting it straight from Canterbury, what's the point?
That's what I was thinking, too. Why buy it through someone else? It just makes it take that much more time, and someone else to deal with your $$, cuz it has to pass thru their hands, both your money and recieving the package. Kinda pointless groupbuy IMO. I think I might look at ordering some stuff when I have money to burn again.

I don't know if we can head up on Wednesday April 18th. We're looking to find out if David can get off work.

That's also alot of class to be missing. We're not planning on driving back to Raleigh until Monday, cuz last year was a LONG drive home after playing all morning and afternoon that Sunday.

It's easier and more fun to just wait to head home on Monday. I will want to drive up there and back with most of the group, so if everyone wants to go up Wednesday, and/or come back Sunday, then that works ok too. This is time to fellowship, so I've already dedicated my entire life that week to be DGRR only.

Plus, if any of our dates change, we will know ahead of time enough that we can adjust them as needed, so we don't lose money.

You should try to get at least Thursday off. Leaving in the early morning of whatever day we leave will give us that much more time to be at Deal's Gap.

Lesson learned: Hawk HPS pads are devoured by Powerslot rotors. I mean, it's like feeding a hungry beast. Like feeding me 1/2 lb. hamburgers from Char-Grille.

If you ever left NC and took the the Batmobile with you, our air would be 10x cleaner. Once again KaleCoAuto.com to the rescue. I think I found a solution to your problem:

That'll probably help the smoking some.

^Roger that.

Oh, I'm also thinking about running a premix. Anyone have any good suggestions of what kind and how much?

Any TC-W3 will work. As for the amount, 200:1 if you have a functional OMP system, 100-124:1 if you have no OMP from what I understand for 2nd gens.

TC-W3? Uh, mind spelling that out for a simpleton? lol Hmm, 200 parts fuel to 1 part oil, or visa versa? HAHA, teasing of course, I'm not quite THAT simple. What amount if you have fuel in your oil? lol

2 cycle oil.... WAP! People use anything from Walmart special of the week to expensive Idemistu or whatever it's called. Some people even use MMO (Marvel Mystery Oil).

Well I know 2-cycle silly! I've never heard it called TC-W3 before. Oh yeah I've heard of MM to clean it out, I might go for that. Now I just have to convert the ratio to something more simple, like 4oz per tank or whatever, haha. Thanks Greg!

Mmm...1/2 lb Charburger...

Your rotors were hungry. I've run HPS pads on two cars and on both of them the pads seemed to barely wear at all. Stock rotors, though.

Eric: I premix the 7, I usually run one ounce per gallon of MMO. If I have no MMO, I'll run about the same amount of 2 cycle oil, although one ounce per gallon is overkill, I think. Better safe than sorry, though. As for using MMO instead of 2 cycle oil, there was a huge debate about MMO vs 2 cycle in the first gen forum a little while back, if you search for that there is a lot of good info in between all the yelling and fussing.

One thing's for sure- MMO Exhaust smells much nicer than 2 cycle exhaust.

The (supposed) fallout benefit of running premix would be lower emissions. That's if you select a good two-cycle oil and block off the OMP (or MOP, I really don't care). In your case Eric, I'm really thinking it's your turbos acting up. Turbo rebuild FTW and don't worry about an engine rebuild. Didn't you say you had ~110 PSI on each rotor for the compression test?

^ I love how I pull these responses from thin air as if anyone asked a question about your turbos.

You guys talking about the smog mobile and you didn't mention me? WTF? I premix 1 ounce of 2-cycle to 1 gallon of fuel. TC-W3 is the rating, kinda like ....... well just call me if you're confused. I will say that cheap 2-cycle will make your exhaust stink really bad.

I am not enjoying selling my car, I might just wait till after April. It really is a pain in the *** to sell online. I think I may just take it off the website and only sell it face-to-face.

Oh and nobody answered my question on where the Dragon Death Squad is assembling at.

Well, smell alone will help me out, haha. Thanks for the info Joey.

I had about 117psi on almost all faces actually, so that should be good. My concern now is I think I have fuel in my oil. I'm not sure how much that has to do with the smell of the exhaust but I'm thinking it does at least a little. I'm not planning on blocking the OMP at this point, just adding some premix to the mix. Nic said he runs premix so I'm thinking it shouldn't hurt any for me to do the same. If I could afford a turbo rebuild or new turbos right now I would do that. I'll be getting the 13B Sunday and he said it just has a bad seal (although it's been sitting there for who knows how long) so I'm thinking about tearing into it right away for some practice, probably porting it, and when I put it in the FB, removing fuel injection and carb-ing it. I think Victor is gonna help me with all that when he gets back from deployment. We might be too busy getting his 20B crammed into his car though! lol

You're right Jason, I can't believe I didn't think of you first when talking about premix smell and all that! lol. I hate that you're getting rid of the TII man, I wish you didn't have to. It sounds like the dark side is getting to you though, taking it offline and selling it face to face...HAHAHA. STALLING! Haha, I don't blame you though, I would too. You sure it's not the wife making you sell? lol I'm still not sure what's going on with TOTD. Thank you for the info also Jason.

^Yeah man, I'm running 4-5 oz per tank...ofcourse that's cuz the 8's OMP has been recalibrated so, I need not to run any more than that. By the way Eric, are you still heading back to GA to get your baby?

On a side note, I have started prepping the body kit for install. I think one of my Mazda tech buddies is gonna come over this weekend so we can fit it the car. I spent about 2 hrs yesterday fixing some of the minor cracks and chips it suffered from the trip from CA. I'll have some pics to post of the install probably this weekend.
