Nah, it works better if the lawyer is by himself, unless he specifically asks you to go with him. For the most part, it goes like this:

"the court calls Ms. Perky Stina."

"I am Ms Stina's Lawyer. I demand that all charges be dropped."

"We'll reduce it to 5 over because we can't bully you and you will actually fight us."

"I'll take 5 over, here's your $100, have a nice day."

I understand it works more like:
The lawyer walks in with a stack of tickets to the clerk of court office or ADA office maybe, "Here is this month's stack of tickets of my clients. Lets makes the cash flow faster with a deal that benefits the court's bank account, my bank account and my client's driving record."

There is a jet ski up there that I'm gonna come take a look at. Thought I might say hello if I was in the neighborhood.

Well, I do live on the coast. How can you not love 1200cc's of 135 horsepower 2-cycle fury on a 500lbs 2 seater watercraft?

either joey or matt's scenario work equally well. I think it depends on the courthouse, in Raleigh I am thinking Matt's is more likely. In Smithfield it works more like Joey's.

Either way the lawyer doesn't want you there. mainly cuz you would slow his schmoozing down. kurtz bloom or kurtz and bloom; something like that. they will get you off of any offense short of vehicular manslaughter.

Perky: When I got my last ticket, the typical lawyer fees were around the $200-300 mark. You can spend up to $1000 for better lawyers and likely get off scott free though. I don't know if I would go that far unless you are looking at something that you could lose your license over.

Jesus. Illinois was so much easier. if it was your first ticket in the past 12 months then you could apply, and would receive, court supervision. $75 fine, no report to the insurance company,a nd if you didnt get another ticket in a year it never saw your record. As long as you didnt get a ticket in the following 3 months then it wouldnt see your record, but you could receive court supervision for the second ticket. That applied to all tickets 21 over and less. Over 21 mph the fine was $95.

i wouldnt say anything is a guarantee, but yea pretty much, a lawyer will get you off. though to be honest i have never been busted for 30 over the limit. i did however get an eluding the police, that was when that $1K lawyer came in handy. one of the great things about this country is that with enough money you can get away with murder, literally.

lawyers rock!!! well if you break the law and are looking to get off they do. haha!

^HAHA. That's hilarious dude.

On another note, I think I might be going to DGRR this year anyway. I noticed it was dedicated to Mark White, and I want to be a part of that. There will probably also be alot of people attending that I want to meet because of the dedication, so that's pretty much my only other reason for going to DGRR this year. I will probably be staying at Microtel or whatever it's called, if I'm not camping.

Yeah if I stay in a motel it will be Microtel, but I gotta see how the money situation is at the time, haha. It might force me into camping, haha (I'll let you know for sure BC).

I'll get with you Saturday probably about the parts. I know someone bought the good FC down here, but I still have to see if he has the one for $100, I hope he didn't crush it
