Is Josh insulting Rotary engines? An LS1 is more reliable without a cooling system than a rotary is with one and this from someone who car is still sitting in the garage. Sounds like someone else we know.

By the way, where is Hinson Super Cars located? Do they ship their parts by 3rd Gen rotaries? That must be why Josh hasn't gotten his thing-a-ma-gigy for his Effdeellesone.

RRDI is happening this weekend, Saturday evening beginning around 6:00 PM and on Sunday we get up early and caravan down to Seymour Johnson AFB for the Wayne County Air Show. Meeting at the SMITHFIELD Cracker Barrell, ( THAT IS THE SMITHFIELD CB, NOT THE MORRISVILLE CB )off of I-40 at 7:00 am for breakfast.

Need to know who is joining the caravan from Smithfield to Goldsboro so we don't leave too early and miss someone. I'll post a new thread up also to be sure people can find it easier.

 

^I'll be there Bert. I'll look for your other thread too. Two weeks in a row getting up early on Sunday...this has to stop, haha. Probably working on the DP and fuel filter Saturday too, so I'll be there if the car is running again Sunday, haha.

A group of us from Fayetteville is heading up to Raliegh Saturday night. All of us will have pistons though. So you all show up to that Food Lion, or other parking lot on uh.. damn see I don't even know the street. Show up though!!

It's not a piston meet really. We just get really bored in Fayetteville, and Raliegh is the closest place with some sort of "scene" close too us. I'll PM you my number, but we should be up there around 10 or 11pm.

Man if it was any other Saturday you could follow me up there, but I'm not going tomorrow night. 10 or 11 might be kinda late to catch our people out there, we're usually packing it up at that point. But some of us go out to a pool hall or somewhere else after that sometimes.

Johny, so sorry you can't make it but I definitely understand recuperation, I've been worn out all week and I didn't do any driving. We'll miss you at the RRDI and down at Goldsboro on Sunday.

Oh just wanted to pass on to everyone, I just got back fueling my car and I happened to run into 2 FC's...one was a red Turbo II and the other was a black GTU, kinda reminded me of Bert and Greg! haha I talked to them about coming out to the next meet and they seemed pretty excited so, we'll see. Also, Eric meet someone on base here with an FD who was having some flooding issues from what I gathered. Well, I guess I'll see ya'll at the next DI.

Sorry I had to cut out early today guys. Very long day (all started with a slight infraction with the a local law enforcement agent... nice guy, still wrote me a ticket..). I forgot the GT Live posters at home today so I'll be sure to bring them to the next meet for everyone (I'm going to just pack them in the trunk of the 8 that way I cant forget them ). Great show today.. SOO MANY PEOPLE AND MORE COMING IN WHEN WE LEFT . I'll have photo's up a little later... speaking of photo's nice meet photo's Greg!
