Beth let me take Cherrie for the trip, which left her with the Saturn since Monday. Needless to say, Beth let me know that Cherrie was missed. But she also said that she missed me too.

Going to get Friday to recover, and then we are back on the road again. Beth's cousin passed away Monday, and we have to go up to New York for the funeral on Saturday.

Looks like we are going to be MIA for the VIR trip this Saturday, the first time Beth and I have missed an RDDI outing, but I'm afraid this couldn't be avoided.

Steena, we still have your shirts, and I'm sorry that we didn't have a chance yet to get them to you, but maybe we can get together sometime next week.

Doug, hate to hear that y'all are going to miss the Drive-In this Saturday, but that means that the FCs may again outnumber the RX8s. We may have Nick and some of the guys that we met in Wilmington show up this weekend.

Drive safely, watch out for 18 wheelers, crazy drivers, and traffic cones. The next VIR trip that I know of was the Holiday Laps on Dec. 9 and that is on a Friday. We'll all be hear when y'all get back and waiting to hear about the speeding tickets you collected on the trip to yankee land and back.

ouch! Well, whatever it takes to get some time off and attend the Drive-In this weekend. In your honor, if we have a decent turnout, we may have a couple of door prizes and you can do the honors of drawing the drivers licenses for the winners, that is if you can use your other hand. The middle finger huh? what were you really doing?

Soooo I took it back to be rebuilt again by my builder and he said the tuner i took it to likes to think he can tune rotorys but really cant soooooo i have to wait like another month for the good tuner to come up from puerto rico. anyway i hope to have around 350-375 @ or around 15-17 psi once i get some bigger injectors and a FPR

If anyone knows anybody who would want a stock Miata exhaust for free shoot me a PM. I hate to throw it away since it's perfectly good, but I sure as hell don't need it and I don't have the space to store it.

I run the BNR stage 4 turbo.

The tuners name is Rolo. he is the owner of CFT. and Ive had alot of work done by them and he did a small tune on it when i had the stock turbo and everything was fine. But this time he messed up bad and wont fix it.

The tuner from puerto rico is named Gaby from sporty motorsports out of Puerto Rico. owns a 9 second FD and is supposedly the fastest 2 rotor in the world. He owns tunes and builds rotory's for a living so i think hes pretty good.

heres a vid from friday of gaby tuning my friend timmy's FC

christina the motor MIGHT be ready by thanksgiving and if it is ill be bringing it...cross your fingers for me. lol

Hey people! I just wanted to check in and wanted to check and see what the latest news on the mansion for Deals Gap is. Also, do we have anything "big" planned soon?

Anyhow, hope all is well.

Back in town...

Well, we made it back all in one piece. Left the house around 8 or 9pm on Friday night, but didn't really "hit the road" until we left Rocky Mount (after we picked up Beth's daughter and husband, they took their own Hundyi [sp?] Tucson). So, around 10 or so we headed up to New York to a small little town called Waterloo. Several stops and twelve hours later we pulled into Waterloo, only to rush to get ready for the funeral and reception afterwords.
For myself, a quick power-nap, dinner, and back to bed only to wake up on Sunday morning to hit the road once again. Two o'clock this morning found us pulling back into our driveway Fifteen hundred miles in 52 hours was a pretty brutal schedule, but it was *beautiful* up there. We just missed the major portion of the fall display, but you could still see some of the fall leaves still lingering. And deer, OMG! They were everywhere. Managed to roll over one that was already DOA on the road at 70mph, not a pleasent experience.
Cherrie was a blast to drive, and had the opprotunity to 'open-her-up' just south of the Virginia/North Carolina border on 95. Not gonna say 'exactly' how fast we did, but we made the 83 mile leg from the border to Rocky Mount well under an hour.
Anyway, it's good to be back home, and it'll probably take us the better part of the week to recover. Looking forward to seeing everybody at the next meeting.

lmao, okay i hope you didnt actually go out in public like that.

christina, how could this thread lose its flavor after 5124 posts...i mean really...that's just ridiculous...it's just shocking

maybe if you could convince some of your female friends to love rotaries as much as you do, we could attract more guys.
