OMG... I TOTALLY forgot to tell you guys this story that happened today!

Ok... so I was leaving WakeTech to zip over to work... and in the parking lot, someone's car alarm was going off. Well, naturally, I look towards the direction it's coming from... and lo, and behold... a SEXY black NSX is just sunbathing in all her beauty in one of the parking spots. "What the HELL is an ACURA NSX doing at Wake Tech?" I ask myself. Then I notice this cute blonde chick trying to get in the car, but her key isn't resetting the alarm, and she seems to be struggling with getting the car started, since the alarm won't reset. So of course, I jump in my POS-of-a-paintjob FC and zip over there and pull up beside her. I get out and of course initiate conversation. Who wouldn't? It's a blonde with an NSX! DAMN. So anyway, I asked her why she'd be at Wake Tech with an NSX, cuz it seemed a bit out of place... and she was just there for some GED classes. (wtf?) lol.

Anyway, it's her and her boyfriend's car... and he works at a car shop on glenwood. She gave me the info, and she said he does work on all sports cars, but she said he doesn't do rotary stuff, really. My eyes got wide at this point. I was like, "You know what a rotary engine is?!" She's like, "Hell yeah!"

So she definitely won my business for her boyfriend. She said he will hook me up with some decent deals, if I told him she sent me. hehe. So........... I'm gonna talk to him about wheels and suspension stuff... and see if I can get something worked out for my car before Deal's Gap.

Anyway, I dunno WHY you guys are having problems finding women who are into cars.

First off am I missing something here? What makes a nice car at Wake Tech so out of place? Most people are in debt anyway, the bank prob. owns it. If your at Wake Tech does that automatically mean you don't have any money??? I tell you thats certainly is not the case

Pretty much every car at WakeTech is a 4-door sedan like a honda or a neon... or it's some big-*** pickup truck.

An $80K car is DEFINITELY out of place. I work at Wake Med in cary, and I only see NSX's in the physician's parking lot.

some girl in her early 20s going to wake tech for her GED driving an NSX is very much out of place.

And maybe it wasn't hers. Probably her rich daddy's. lol

Unless it was a brand new one, its not worth 80k, more like $30k. Ive seen lots of BMW's, Vettes, and other high dollar cars. Any decent new car is a lot of money. A new BMW or a new Mercedes is worth well over 30k. A big-*** new pickup truck sells for big money too..The NSX is just more flashy. So if I got one of those Honda V6 NSX's id be cool too and way out of place?? Just my $0.02

I took a ride down to Rotorsports today because a friend of mine is thinking about getting an FD. We got there and we were getting a tour by Russel. He just happend to mention that Bryan had just goteen into a bad accident. It seems that the 20B FD that we were hoping to see at one of the meets got away from him. From what i saw, he's lucky to be alive. They had to cut him out of the car, he then spent a week and a half in the ICU. Russel said he was doing better but was pretty banged up.

I was very impressed by the guys down there. It wasn't quite what i was expecting, i thought i was lost when i turned down the dirt road that lead to his house.

Does anybody know where the is a blown FD for sale locally? My buddy is pretty interested in getting one, but i think he's going to get one with a blown motor and get rotorsports to put one in.
