DGRR would have been fun. But I did discover yesterday that my tune is all sorts of out of whack being in Georgia vs Vermont. She's running a solid point too rich across the board and there's some surging happening followed by a very flat top end..
The difference in altitude maybe?

If altitude is the problem Collin the FC should run better during a DGRR run up in the mountains. It's worth a try.

Dudes, you know I'm easily bought by praise for the LE, Tim's homemade cider and the keys to a turbo Nikki.

Also it would be great spending the weekend with you guys plotting how to get Trump and associated Republicans out of office.

When is DGRR anyway? I'll check with the wife on my availability.

Figures I trailer the car down here and end up with a variety of new problems. Tune isn't right, TPS is out of spec now somehow, got a rear caliper dragging, two of my exhaust hangers snapped... oh yeah and the diff is leaking worse.

^^^ That thing was soo sweet. I love how much NSU took from VW/Porsche. I mean it even has the Stuttgart wheat on the crest. And the longest shortest radiator I've ever seen; it must have been 6" tall and 30" long lol.

Other than breaking my radiator mounts I had a blast tearing up the roads.

JK. It will be good to see you again. We are meeting at the Taco Mac at Mall of Georgia. We usually park in the mall parking lot right next to TM so it is easier to park together.

Paul, It was good to see you and your beautiful SE again. I'm sorry we didn't get to hang out more. We'll have to get together next year for a drive through the dragon.

tommy!! Great to see you too. Talked with Tim a bit at the show. I don’t think Robert and Mike remembered me from last year. Brett and I shared the same space so we had long chit chats with Alex. Also chatted a while with James at the Dam and shared a table with Cindy and I at the awards. Weather was chilly in the early AM but turned out to be great weather for the event. Next time I go I’m going to try and get the week off so I can participate in the other early events. My 7 ran great!! That makes it an A+ !! Met a lot of other folks but can’t put a name to them. Great people these Rotards.

As I heard, the 7 driver hit a motorcycle. I also heard the 7 driver was female. No name was given.

Well, I gave the outside of my smurf turd a very quick polish just to conceal some of the single stage chalkiness today. Should be a nice drive up to the meet tomorrow. Blows my mind how different the roads are down here.. in Vermont you dodge massive craters in the road and the highway has a washboard feeling to what looks like smooth road..

In the morning I'm going to give the inside a quick wipe down and see what the heck is going on with my front sway bar.

Was really great seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new ones on Tuesday! My Reman rear calipers should be here middle of next week, so hopefully next time I drive up it'll be a bit more fuel efficient lol

Finally going to paint them to match the anodized lip on my wheels too.

I bought new motor mounts and transmission mount on eBay. Positive I got the right stuff till I tried swapping them out. Never got to the transmission mount because when I took the original motor mounts off the first thing I noticed is that the ones I got are clearly too large in diameter and too tall. Their both the same size whereas the ones I took off are clearly not the same size. The driver side one is about 3/16 taller than the passenger side. Does that make sense? The new ones are too large in diameter clearly unable to seat because the driver side new one interferes with the edge of the oil pan and passenger one interference with lower radiator hose. My biggest question is are they in fact supposed to be off set, not equal in height? The new ones shove the radiator fan up against the fan shroud.. clearly too tall. The original driver side is also clearly compromised but the passenger side one looked good. Anybody?
