So that would include FB's. There's not an FB around that hasn't been totally rebuilt in somebody's backyard.

Good thing I wasn't there yet, I'd have wanted to try it

Who was that fool anyway?

Speaking of Zoomfest, have you guys seen this new Zoomfest 2008 number on youtube?

And if you liked that one

Yea, it sucks. You search for zoom fest on u-tube and you get a bunch of hits from a amateur film festival. Maybe we can get big enough to knock them off the block

It's this one. I haven't opened it and it arrived toay! So I can definitely have it Tuesday night. It retails new for $30 and Holley charges $11.95 for shipping and handling so $25 is not ripping you off but this one came with my fuel pump and it's not the one I need for the Dellorto so its yours if you're still willing to pay the $25, for a never opened unit.

I suck. I spent all day trying to figure a way to put an FB gearbox in the REPU. Unless I have a super-rare SA tailshaft, it's just a futile effort. She'll get a different SA gearbox on Sunday, and will be ready for beer on Tuesday.

Tomorrow morning the FC's going to hit 270K on the way to work, unless this tree falls and takes out it and the FB in one thud. On that note I'm going to move one of them...

And they're both moved. Hopefully it makes 270K mark now

Looking forward to Tuesday!

Yuenling? Who's she?

I've been following your trials and tribulations about the REPU tranny Crit, sounds like deep territory. I admire your efforts but am reminded why all my cars are 84/85 GSLs - Total 100% parts interchangeability. Hope the SA tranny works for you, I guess it wouldn't have a 5th gear, right? You probably don't want that until the big brakes are in anyway.

So who was that fool anyway?

Why not use the cut down FB selector and modified FB tail shaft?

Because you've still got the tailshaft, and a REPU truck shifter won't fit in an FB shift tower.

Cash for Clunkers

The "Cash for Clunkers" program is one of the most Asinine programs I've ever seen. They are taxing us for the $4,500,00. Then offering it back to us if we’ll go out and buy a new car from “Government Motors”, which they illegally took over in first place stiffing the stockholders and management. The other, real car manufactures, like Mazda, are having to compete against this!

Gee, I wonder why people are not putting their money back into the stock market yet?

The car dealers are still trying to figure out the fine print on this program. Therefore the dealers are putting in their sales contracts that if the benevolent all caring big government does not pay them the money then you, the buyer, will have to cough it up.

It’s the usual bait-and-switch crap from Washington D.C. Tell all f your friends not to fall for it.

Look at it this way, the parts in your Clunker just doubled in value!

Hold onto your Clunkers!

All right, let me know when you are dealing with them again and I'll gladly pay you for the parts.

You go Greg! Nobody I know has the commitment to clunkers that you have, it takes a special man to hold onto a '68 Dodge Dart 4 door for forty years.

Hey, are you going to Crit's Lakehouse Event? I don't recall seeing you signed up.

Don't know if I can fit the lake house party in this year. When is it scheduled anyway? I've been to busy to keep up with this tread.

I have my Nephews graduation next weekend.

Obama can have my Dodge whenever he thinks he's man enough come take it by himself!
