Hey guys we're having a dyno day up here in Charlotte. Any of you care to come up?

Its saturday in Morresville (just north of Charlotte) and its 40 bucks for 3 pulls, and
one can be a 1/4 mile if you want. The crossroads crew are all going, so its looking
like its gonna be a good time.

Just check our thread for details.

https://www.rx7club.com/se-rx-7-forum-35/i77-i40-crossroads-rotary-meet-618153/

Andre (dre's_customs on here) from our group is organizing it.

So Ray, are there no trophies for Sabine? I mean...I only converted her to manual, stuck a new engine in and troubleshot like a banshee until I figured it all out... :-P

Brett, stop whoring my Miata out in your pictures! Haha...poor girl...so used...

I'm FINALLY in Vermont. The transmission took a week to get replaced, then we stopped in Maine and stayed at this summer cottage and got Lobster fresh off the dock...lord, we spent far too much money but DAMN was it worth it!

I'm here for about ten days and am going to attempt to cover some shifts at the Williston Starbucks or surrounding...maybe one in burlington, but they're pretty well staffed at the one I'm sitting in right now talking to you from. One of the Baristas is SUPER hot though...heh...

Anyways, I can't wait to get home. Sabine is getting all new brakes and whatnot and new motor mounts..

They should be, or atleast mine It's got a different transmission and rear end, on it's 3rd clutch since I've had it, and should have some new shoes soon! Plus that black interior swap and the S5 transformation. Did I mention exhaust? And what about that suspension?

Your car has come a long way. But your exhaust was a step back. It got you two tickets, and my friend Geoffry and I still think it sounds ricetacular. I was happy to see that you wanted to trade it away.

Ahh... I'm good. It took me 3 years to get a good, un-cracked set with the intact mounting tabs

I put that silencer in the can the other day to see how it sounds and whatnot, and it's even more ricerific Under 3500 it sounds like a honda and when you let off of the gas it makes a sucking noise... If I had a muffler between the header and catback that was about an inch too long, I'd totally keep it. I've heard Borla ones totally change the tone and quiet it down, and with that extra inch it would be far enough away from the bumper to stop charring it. But you know what they say about n/a's- when they're loud they've gotta be fast

When will registration be up? I think Billy said he was gonna go up there a week before and buy the tickets, so I assume around 2 weeks proir to ZF. Not having a job makes me uneasy on spending $30 and not knowing if I can really go.

OMFG look what I did!! I paid $60 for these when I got that lip and they look awesome now. Brand spankin new tires. Too bad I've got 3 drivers side wheels and only 1 passenger one though...

Registration opened over a month ago. If y'all want to attend, it's important to register once you make plans. It's much tougher to plan the Autocross and other activities without knowing who's coming.

For what it's worth, the PDX is an extra $100 of you want some open track time as well, and you'll get your money back of you don't / can't run for some reason. Y'all register and sign up for the PDX if you can.

Ehh, I wouldn't be coming that sunday, just saturday to chill and ride around the track. But I'll register soon- the more I think about it, the more I want to come, so I'll go ahead and just do it.

The pdx registration is through the SCCA. They will open the registration a month before the event. We will post a link when they do.

So I picked up the Nikki from Greg today. Ray, how could you like these complex little beasts!? If I want to pull my jets to clean them, it's 2 screw and a little plastic jet cover comes off. How on EARTH do I clean these jets out (in case they're good up from sitting in Greg's garage)? Is there a quick way using an eye dropper and seafoam or something? Umm, anyone near Spartanburg SC want to come up with my cousin and I on Sunday and help swap the carbs? this is my first time I've even seen a Nikki in person (at OGTA they're always hidden underneath those blue air filter boxes). I have no idea what the hell I am looking at for the most part.......

Nikki jets don't get goo'd up Chris, they just work, always. Trust in the Nikki, it won't let you down. If it was working when Greg parked it, it will get you back from Spartansburg.

Repeat after me.... I believe in Nikki's....I believe in Nikki's....I believe in Nikki's....

(God is kind of like a Nikki, you don't need to understand to believe)

What does being an athiest do for the workings of the Nikki? It's mostly down hill form Sburg. You'll only have to push a few hills

Chris, this is where you start to feel the force and you levitate the Nikki off the table after the little pep talk from Yoda.

Oh... I hope you are old enough to know what the heck I am talking about.

Kevin, you crack me up, no pun intended.

Hey dudes, I got another line on tropbies, an Athens craigslisting, she called me this morning.

http://athensga.craigslist.org/zip/1226467477.html

If it comes through we might be able to award trophies to the FD's and maybe even some boingers. They might have some soccer ***** but we can fix that up.
