By the way, Collin, You did good by putting the headlights up. I did too, but lots of folks forget. My doors were frozen shut the next morning, though the headlights still moved.
That thing looks like it's buried from the photos.

I got stuck in my driveway this morning, which is graveled and completely flat. Fortunately I was able to use my rocking skills gleaned from lots of winters in Mass, plus some gentle verbal encouragement, to get her out. And the ride into Atlanta was all good.
So we'll be there tonight, somebody bring a camera to record the 12A count, I forgot mine.

Ray, I missed out on the car I was looking at. Guess it just wasn't to be. So I am back to showing love to the gray ghost. I kinda like that name.

"BTW anybody know where I can find a job?"
Man do I hate these words, which I'm hearing all the time these days. Makes me think I better start being nice to the boss again.
Good luck Kevin, they'll miss you when you're gone!
I saw that white SE come up about a week ago, on ebay I think. Looks pretty sweet although there's been a lot of work done to it (aftermarket or refinished seats, for example) so a buyer should beware.
With the economy going the way it is all kinds of good stuff is coming up on ebay and craigslist, it's real hard to resist. If I had a little money to spend my personal 12A count could easily shoot back up to 4 or even 5 or 6.
Hope folks have enough gas money to make it tonight.

Stu you must be in total rotary withdrawal, how can you stand it? Go out and start that puppy up, talk real nice to it, be patient, she might be a little cranky.
We had a surprisingly strong turn out for another cold winter night. Several new cars and folks and the SE's are coming out of the woodwork, although this is mainly Crit's fault.
I talked with the 12A Equivalents Committee and they've agreed to allow the petition by the FC kids to up their 12A equivalents count to 1 FC = 0.75 12As. Also Fd's have been upgraded to 0.5 12As and RX-8's to 0.333333 12A's. Boinger's driven by preferred members will now count as 0.5 12A's as well, although the committee was unanimous in its decision not to include Detroit boingers in the count. All other scoring remains the same.
So here's the 12A count for Tuesday evening, March 3, 2009 (I had to leave a little early, there might be some late comers):
5 FB's = 5 12A's (Kevin, in his new red sexmobile, Greg the Elder, Greg the Younger, Tim and Ray)
3 SE's = 3 12A's (Crit x2, although this arrangement was slated to change before the evening is over, Ben in his freshly painted and getting pretty SE)
2 FC's = 1.5 12A's (Colin and Brett, who might post photos later on)
2 certified boinger's = 1 12A (Holly in the Blue Bomber and Collin in his Macho Miata)
1 uncertified boinger = 0 12A's (Billy, who had the good sense to park where we couldn't see him)
Total 12A's = 10.5, not bad for a dark and cold winter night!
Should be warm again for the April meet, maybe even some daylight.

It's nice to see the OGTA group growing Rotary withdraw indeed. I get my fix when Josh starts his car (cold start) and holds it about 5kRPM.

You can add another 1.5 for Andy, Ray. Not bad for a cold night.

Bah, it had been about a week since I ran mine and it started first crank. If you treated her well in the past, you'll be fine. If not.......
Well Crit, I didn't see any FBs on the side of the interstates on the way home. But I can't hear her yelling at him either, so who knows where we stand.
At least the next meet should be warmer and with more sunlight.

Yeah, fun fun. It was cool getting to know a few people a little better. I'm deff. jealous of Colin's FC My pictures aren't great. I need to get to know the camera better and what not. Here they are though:
And hey- Is Kevin gonna name his car the RAG or what? I think it's sticking!

the only time i almost ended up on the side of the road was when a 18wheeler blew by me and the side draft almost blew me off the road. damn light cars
and no, steph isn't yelling. that would wake up sarah. if its going to happen, it will be during the hours of 6:30p - 9p on week nights, or various times during the weekend.
i wonder how annoyed she is going to be when i ask if its ok to spend the day at crit's working on the car? i might have to buy her a spa appointment, and offer to watch sarah on sunday
not sure when i'm going to find the time to fix up its parking on the side of the house and install a new garage door.
