Everyone disses sunpro guages because they are "cheap and inaccurate" but I like the cheap part and my temp gauge is spot on every time, even picks up small routine changes in engine temp, tracking the stock gauge very nicely.
I think they look good too and of course most important of all they provide that critical "second opinion" to back up your 25 year old stock gauges (or first opinion, as the case may be).
I originally installed my temp gauge to check on an "overheating" problem only to learn that the cooling system was working just fine, the problem was a squirrelly stock gauge (ground issue).

Man, I always wanted a LE. And that looks like the spoiler I always wanted as well. I would buy that if I was there. Too bad I wont be down until next weekend. Anyone want to get it for me and hold it till next weekend.
We see everyone next weekend.

I clicked the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button but nothing happened Zach. Is that the point, that this Chuck Norris guy is way overrated?
I'm hoping to wake the White One up from her hibernation, she's been asleep for the last week with this cold weather. Looks like a little window today before it comes back, I need to go out and do the unflood procedure.
And damn you guys with heated garages.

Figured I'd be hearing from you about the carb Tim, yes she has a choke and I even hooked it up when it started to get cold this fall.
The real culprit seems to be the battery, in all my years of driving 7's I've never purchased a battery so it could be that this one is getting old. That combined with a cold morning and just a bit too much accelerator before turning the key looks like it caused it to flood.
I will post a video when she's running again to reassure you all of the virtues of Nikki's.
And yes, I need to admit things are looking pretty good under your hood.

He said it was a bit rough and needed a clutch. $300 was a steal just for the body with the wheels though.
Anyone got a cheapish 1st gen for sale? My intern needs a car. We went to look at a SE today for him, but it was sold (even though the guy never mentioned that on the phone....)
Ray, a capful of ATF or 2 stroke oil down each primary does wonders for flooded 12As .

That's a nice detail Tim, I'll be looking for one. How much?
And here's another interesting mod, a one barrel that claims to get 40 mpg:
Sounds interesting, anybody have any clue if it's real? Here's the post:

The White One is back on her feet, doing just fine. A tad of Sea Foam and a swig of MMO down the primaries and of she went in a cloud off smoke.

Ray it was $22.50 plus shipping ($13.55). Got it off of Amazon here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GBXI2Y
The packaging for shipment left a lot to be desired but its a pretty stout piece so it arrived in good shape. None of the painted parts were chipped and the chrome bar had plastic over it. The actual box was broken open a few places but it did its job more or less.
I'm not sure how well it would clear the alternator in the stock position. I'll be doing a write up in this in the 1st gen section because the mounting holes are just a bit off for a 1st gen and need to be slightly stretched to fit over the strut studs. I'll have to mount the alternator back up there and see how it clears the bar.
