No problem, Dave, we totally understand. Thanks for giving us a heads-up, though, so we can stay close to an accurate headcount. You can tell Elizabeth that we'll miss that gorgeous yellow pearl paintjob.

I might be there unless I'm in the hospital. It might be a slight bit too far from home with the amount of pain I'm in even with the lortab.

I'm trying to get my doctor to prescribe me something stronger, though.. So everyone cross their fingers!

If I come, I will bring home made cookies!

I may also lead the caravan for the Georgia people if anyone is interested in not speeding and not getting lost.

I'm interested. If you end up not going, I will make sure I have the navigator and in sync with where we are going.

Nobody else better bring cookies! There shall be no enroaching on my cookies! Just sayin'...

I'll probably go, but may not spend the night, as I usually wake up and lay in bed for twenty minutes or so in pain.

Let's arrange this caravan then, shall we?

We'll call it Wanda's caravan!

Wanda's Caravan:

- Meeting at Wal-Mart in Commerce, GA off Exit 149 (I-85 Northbound) - Time TBA

- If anyone wishes to grab a cup of coffee before the trip, my Starbucks is roughly a mile from Wal-Mart. I can see about extending my 30% Partner discount, but no promises.

- I'm not big on speeding, so if at any point you decide that this is not for you, by all means pass us by and we'll see you later.

- Assuming I've got my CB fixed by the weekend, I'll be on channel 7. Not sure if two-ways operate the same.. I can try to find mine and test this theory.

- Be safe and try to keep a reasonable distance between everyone. Call me paranoid, but the last thing we want is anyone hitting one of our own.

- I'm one of those crazy ******* and if passing is necessary, I try and wait for a decent time where most everyone if not all can move over to pass at the same time. If you get left out, don't fret, it'll be pretty easy to find us again.

Lastly, if anyone gets pulled over.. let's all agree to stop and make the cop feel outnumbered! Kidding, obviously.. but hey, the Wankel Mafia and potentially the W.W.W. could get us out of a hefty noise ordinance ticket!

Tara and I just might meet up with y'all. We're coming from Dahlonega, though, so we'll either go the back roads and come out on 85 near the GA/SC border, or take 60 into Gainesville, cross over 129 to Commerce, and meet y'all there. I'll let you know sometime before the meet, since I know you can't wait to cruise with my Maxipad. Or even better, Tara's Accord

I'll try to throw in some bags of ice, too, Crit.

Update:

Crit and Dena - Propane for the grill, Potato Salad, all condiments etc., and breakfast on Sunday morning
Tim and Tina - home brew, NC pulled pork bbq and slaw
Kent and Micki - plates, cups, and that kind of stuff
Michael and buddy -
Ray and maybe Cathy - hot dogs
Jeremy -
Dave and Elizabeth -
Brett and Tara- Water, other non-alcoholic drinks, ice
Billy, Jackie, Brenden and Kiersten - Hamburgers and sleeping bags.
Holly - bucket of frozen margaritas, cole slaw, lots of hamburger and hot dog buns, cooler with ice for adding to drinks. hamburgers.

Hey Collin, the PM you sent me off the top of your head is absolutely correct. Given a proper map, I'm sure you'd be foolproof. You guys follow him - he's like a lake-seeking carrier pigeon or something.

Billy, y'all don't all need sleeping bags - that's just if anyone wants to crash in the basement. We've got the master bedroom set aside for you and the kids, with one queen bed and one blowup, both with proper sheets.

Removed Dave from the list. Added some additional stuff that we'll be bringing. Looks like my caravan might be down to just 1 car (was hoping for 5-6). I'll check in with Michael and Stu tomorrow and see if they will be able to come. Tim is heading down on Friday night, I guess.

We are shooting to be there by about 11am or so. We'll have to pull out of here around 4am.

Update:

Crit and Dena - Propane for the grill, Potato Salad, all condiments etc., and breakfast on Sunday morning
Tim and Tina - home brew, NC pulled pork bbq and slaw
Kent and Micki - plates, cups, and that kind of stuff, chips, some baked beans, soda/beer

I'll be there. Well, Rachel had something come up, but I'll definitely be there. For a while yesterday I was worried about the weather, but it now looks to be a great day. Any outstanding items on the wishlist? Is anyone meeting up pre-11:30?

Last night at like 11 Tara and I thought it would be funny to make rotor shaped cookies to screw with Collin. Well, mostly me, and I ended up burning them and half of them stuck to the pan, even though I sprayed the damn thing. So Collin win's... We're meeting him and Holly and whoever else and I guess we'll be there around noon. And I've got the drinks and I'm stopping to get ice.

See y'all there.

I'm running late, won't make Commerce by 11:30 or even 12:00, but I should make it to the lake around 1:00, I'll just follow the rotary fumes.
