How about we all sit around and watch my rebuild DVD set nd eat some popcorn, before I attempt it? (Will be my first rotary rebuild) Then you all can sit around and watch us rebuild it.

For real though, Russ will be there (hopefully) overlooking me and catching any mistakes I make and giving me some tips and tricks. Russ is a really cool guy and I'm sure he wouldn't mind people watching, and maybe learning a trick or two.
Anyone who wants to come and participate is more than welcome. Maybe we can even set up a meet somewhere to do it at?

Hey guys whats up? I snuck off the sub! No we pulled into port for a bit. I'll be home for at least this week. Any plans for friday anyone? I have to say I'm glad we pulled in cuz I was going a bit nuts. Only good part was we pulled to Port Canaveral for a few and I got drunk and went to see boobies!
(I hope I don't offend anyone with that statement its just I heart *****!)

So far so good. Think its a wiring issue not the switch. And yea that was me, I'm in the Army, I work at camp blanding so that's why I'm always over that way.
Now that part is my little secret. I am not going to say until I get them back and see how well they do. Its a company closer to town so I want to wait and see how well it turns out before telling who I got the porting done by.
Plus, I cant give out all of the good stuff yet.
Let me know when you are going to end up doing the rebuild Kat. Maybe we'll finally get to meet up! And I wanna be there for the rebuild.. I don't see where Russ would have any issues with it either...
WHat u mean its running hot?!!! dont use it if its overheating.
ANy coolant leaks?
Good working fan?
IS our rad ok? I have a peice of **** one and works great. Whats the coolant looking like?

No leaks that I've seen..just replaced a clogged fluidyne rad with a stock one..changed out stock clutch fan with taurus efan..coolant flushed with redline water wetter added...sometimes it gets hot (goes to 200 or a lil more then I shut it off) other times I drive around an hour or so and never goes over 185-190...no white smoke either
Not sure if they had them or not, but the Junk yard out on Joe Johns road had 2 fc's and I believe that they had their bumpers. At least I know that one of them did when I was out there 3 weeks ago cause I was looking for the clear lens that goes on them and the one I needed was gone, but the one I had was there. Not sure of the name of the place, but I can give directions and possibly remember the name of the tow company that worked with them if I try hard enough....

Figured I'd put this in here first...I'm considering very strongly selling the full S4 TII swap out of my car...motor runs and drives great, spools good and all, but it decides when it wants to run hot so I'm tired of the headache...so I'm selling it as possibly needing a rebuild/coolant seals, if not the issue, my loss your gain...
Details from the prev owner:
Around 18k on rebuild now, large streetport
Tranny rebuilt at same time with FD gearing, has issues with 3rd sometimes, like most rx7 trannys...
Stock turbo rebuilt
ACT stage 2 clutch
Kinda janky front mount setup, has mandrel bent exhaust piping and its set in front of the rad.
Coils engine harness etc
Microtech LT10s and 4x ignition system.
Things I am keeping for sure at the moment, driveshaft and lower harness for starter etc...I may possibly part the ecu setup from the motor but not right now...if any of you local guys are interested let me know

NOOO!!! Dont do it.. even though i want your microtech lt-10.
IF your car never needs to be filled with coolant then the coolant seals should be good.
There is a trick to see if your car is eating coolant. There is a HOW TO in this forum somewhere. YOu need a 2 litre or something similar. Cut the bottom off the 2 litre. Put the top- side down into the coolant filler. Put coolant on the 2 litr.(the coolant filler neck area must be sealed with something so the coolant will stay in the 2 litre)
ANyways afer you have that setup. ALl you have to do is let the car warm up and star at the 2 litre looking for bubbles. If no bubbles come up and out of the filler neck and out the 2 litre than your car fine. NO bubbles is good. BUbbles are bad.
PS. Do you have your inderbody plastics? For the rad? WHen was the last time you got a fresh thermostat?
LIke i said before i run a OLD OLD OLD rad. with dings all over the place. NO underbody plastics. (I do have new thermostat and fiero fan with temp controller.)
YOurs shouldnt be runing hot.
