Even with super safe tuning, that's not to say a fuel pump wont start crapping out, or maybe an injector failing. If that were to happen, then pop goes your engine, because you have no way to know..
I'd would personally spend an extra 200 even for a crappy WBO2 then have a costly rebuild due to some sort of failure.
thinking like that, you should have a wideband on your car, grandmas honda civic, and everything else on the road....as someone else said unless i lose all 4 injectors, or alot of fuel pressure at a high load/boost the car will do nothing more than simply die out...

i dont have a wideband because the car didnt have one to begin with, i've had it about 3 weeks. and its only been driven about 2 of those. if I could get the car tuned as it sits, i see no need to have my own personal wideband until i decide to go with a bigger turbo more fuel etc later on down the road, and do the tuning on my own.

edit: on another note...after changing my fouled out plugs, my car now decided to drip coolant all over my driveway...god i love rx7s

a black vert on Hipps Rd going toward Old Middleburg Rd. Pretty nice one
a white vert on Old Middleburg with a tan top
a black maybe s5??? on Philips Hwy...sounding like it had a slight miss.

I know this has nothing to do with local sightings or local help but I thought I'd post it anyways. The other day I was filling up gas and this hobbo comes up to me with this baby boy carrying a bag with a diaper and tells me his kid just wet himself. He spent his last few dollars in the store and now he doesn't have any money left to take a bus to get home (sure he doesn't ). I hate and normally don't give money to the homeless, but while I was fueling up he says,

"Hey is that a TR7?!"
I reacted, ".. Actually it's an RX-7 but hey close enough You know not too many people know what this car is... Oh what the hell I only got 3 bucks but here's a bonus I'll give you $2 just for recognizing it!"

I couldn't stop laughing about that on my way home and didn't feel bad about giving him money. Meanwhile some of my retarded brother's friends will stop by the house and make stupid comments behind my back like, "Man what kind of car is that? Back to future!" the same kind of kids who are probably driving their mommy's accord and assume all new cars are better than old cars. But hey, what would life be without random surprises and retards

I drive my 7 all the time. And I have never seen another girl driving one. Katy you need to get yours fixed! I see girls driving Rx 8's all the time, but it's just not the same.
After taking off the alternator, and the battery thinking it was one of those causing the issue, I found that the wire behind the alternator that hooks into it, not the ground but the other, wasn't plugged in all the way. UGH!!!!! Simple ******* fix, hours to diagnose and seconds to fix. I still took both of them to get tested to make sure, and they both tested fine. Hooked everything back up, and now seems like nothing is wrong with it. Well, see... now that I've said this she'll need something else. Got a quart of oil sitting in my front seat waiting to go in when I drive her later today, so she has nothing to complain about!

Agreed, and I wish my car was that simple!

Correct I have the emblem but not the pins so I'll be sticking it to the car directly one day I just haven't yet because I hate my mufflers and don't want other people to think RX-7s are simply rice cars! But since I'm selling it soon I'll be adding those emblems in the near future

5lick. YOu should have a "meet" when u assemble the engine. Kinda like a class?

That way all the rotary guys around here can get a first hand look on how the rotary engine is assembled.

Some chips and drinks while we chat about spinning doritos.=D?

PS. dont forget to prime the oil pump.=D

How about we all sit around and watch my rebuild DVD set nd eat some popcorn, before I attempt it? (Will be my first rotary rebuild) Then you all can sit around and watch us rebuild it.

For real though, Russ will be there (hopefully) overlooking me and catching any mistakes I make and giving me some tips and tricks. Russ is a really cool guy and I'm sure he wouldn't mind people watching, and maybe learning a trick or two. Anyone who wants to come and participate is more than welcome. Maybe we can even set up a meet somewhere to do it at?

How did that headlight switch work out?

I might have seen you when you were picking up the radiator from Randall. Were you the guy in the camo? If you were, I would have said whats up, but I was busy finishing up that dirty *** minivan.
