The 21st is correct. I am taking the 7 to the painter tomorrow! Woohoo! Can't hardly wait. The poor girl looks like a skeleton now. I am going to take some pics tomorrow before I load her up on the trailer. Then probably when I drop her off. The guy said he will have the car for two weeks (gerrrrrr), but hopefully I will have her back in time to put her all back together before the next meet. So excited about finally putting this part of the project behind me.

 

Hey, wanted to update you on the parts. i wont be making it this meet (going to alabama, grandparents :-\ ) and I will hopefully be meeting up with some guys in The Gap on the way down there. Would you like me to ship the power antenna to you? I havent gotten around to the Locks and ignition yet, should be nailing those tomorrow.

So how many people here have been to the Saturdays in Raleigh thread? We've got a good group out there that meets twice a month. If anyone wants to make it out I'd love to meet more people. I would have tried to make this meet but my fiancee(perkystina) and I didn't hear about it in time. Anyone that's not too far from Raleigh should come check out the Saturdays in Raleigh thread.

 

Thanks for the invite, but you failed to mention which Saturdays you meet. We have been trying to get more people down on this side of the woods. If you and your group want to come and join us one time, I'm sure we could do the same.

Yeah the 21st is the deals gap thing but some might not be going and want to meet up instead. i know im not going up there my car is just not ready to make that journey. we still plan on having it, in my opinion.

 

I think that the majority of us is in the same boat. I don't know if I'll have my car put back together after I get her back from the painter for the meet. I hope to have it done, and hopefully have the 80 SA back to life by then. We shall see!

 

yea i gotta fix a couple things on my setup before it comes out. i blew the hell out of my intake gasket on the dyno at 30psi LOL. didn't even get to run at pinks

well i know yall aint heard from me much, been realy busy n just had surgery n what not. but whear is the 19th meet gonna be at??? i missed tha last 1 or 2 but would realy like to try n make this 1

 

yeah we still plan on having it at the same place. I hope i can make it this time, im might have to go to my mother inlaws. Im trying to get out of it but im not sure, either way i wont be in the 7, its down for paint, i hope to get it done by the next one.
