Kory, I replied in the thread you started in the 1st gen section. Theres an excellent
book and I think its online somewhere for tuning Weber and Dells and it applies to
the Mikunis as well since they are a weber knock off.

Hey man, what was up the trunk light maybe its the same thing with mine.

 

Mikunis is Mikunis, OER is the Webber knock off. Not mikunis. LOL

 

Thats funny i was telln sam that right after i bet that you have tha same prob lol but theres a wire in the trunk that was cut from normal use weed have to show u were at the meet but once it was fixed my 3rd breaklight worked and i foubd out i had a trunk light haha epic!

 

Right where the harness goes down the trunk lid with the driverside hinge is where we found the break in the wires. I guess Mazda didn't put forth a whole lot of effort in that design considering no other RX7 had a trunk

On a different note, I thought that I would have the TII tranny installed before the meet. According to UPS, my clutch will not be here till next Monday. O'well, I guees it will be done before the following meet.

So, Manny. What day next week you want to do your engine swap?

 

Sam it turns out that the emulsion tubes in the mikuni are just called "jet holders" and are labeled 0A so that eliminates one issue

 

Don mater to me im game for any day aint like i got nothin to do lol but probly soon as possible

 

Kory, still the jetting seems backwards to me. I still say the fuel jet needs to be 180 and the air corrector needs to be 170. The venturie needs to be at the biggest a 38.

 

So, who all is coming Sunday?

Well guys me n sam had an all nighter but the motor got in this morning, and the first start was epic turned on like a champ on firts key tirn. lol now jus to figure the idle problem but its running. oh hey i cleaned up the old na bit and it seems it was a mazda rebuild and if thats a date on corner it was built back in 99, wow but when it was actuly put in tha motor...who knows lol ill be putn up videos n pics of meet n the start here soon lol.
