I run premix because I am not running an omp. If you delete the omp on a S5, it will set off the check engine light and put the computer in limp mode. Premixing plus omp usually makes smoke.

If you still have stock secondary injectors you don't want to go past rtek 1.5, speaking from experience I didn't really feel too much of a difference with the 1.7. It ran a little smoother during the secondary injector transition but once I started messing with my tps it got much worse than it ever was. You'd be better off with a pfc of some sort I think along with some bigger injectors, fuel pump etc.

I would run premix whether or not you have an omp, doesn't hurt to over lube the seals, it does hurt your fuel filter tho. Your choice, oh and u have to deal with every1 starring at you while at the pump and asking u questions, lol!! hilarious! I just tell them "my engines not like yours...that is all"

Well guys I think I am going to be saleing my 79 SA. I am just completely bored and have no desire to work on it. The clutch screwed up on me on Friday, for no reason. It has fluid, and everything was rebuilt a few months back and bleed. It was working great for a while but out of no where it lost complete pedal. When it happened the only thing I could think of was how I didnt want to wrench on it ever again. I have been on the fence about this for some time now, and almost sold it last year. I have some other interest that need more attention, and also need a car that has more the two seats. Eventually I will get another project, rotary or not but with how life is right now, this is what I need to do. It has not been an easy decision but it is something that needs to be done. I just have to take my loses for what they are and just think about how much I learned on the car.

With this being said what do you guys think I should ask for my 79. Most of you have seen it and know what has been done to it. I just need some opinions of what it would be worth? And what people would be willing to pay?

Thanks guys and once its gone I will never lose my love for the rotary and maybe one day I will get another bigger and better project, but for now this is what it is.

This decsion is something I have been toying with, and with some new additions its become more clear, my time is needed in other areas. So with that said thought I would let everyone know since the cat is out of the bag.

NEWS FLASH Amy is 13 weeks Pregnant. We have been planning this for some time and been thinking about the future a little more lately. We wont know what it is till after thanksgiving but will let everyone know when we find out.

Congrats on the news on the kid! That is awesome!

You should sell the 80 and keep the 79. You can get a pretty penny for it.

As for the clutch, check your transmission and rear end for residue. That is what happened to mine, I was driving fine and all of a sudden no clutch. Strangest thing is that I refilled it with fluid and it never leaked again.

Congratulations Robby and Amy. I'm glad to hear about you and Amy having a baby, but at the same time I'm sad to hear about you selling the SA. But it's probably for the best. If you have lost interest in the Rotary game, you would probably be better off getting out of it. As far as what your car is worth, I would guess somewhere between 4 to 6 grand. With the economy the way it is, it's hard getting a good price on collector cars. Good luck buddy.

We had a pretty good showing today guys. Thanks for all who came out. Especially Edger for bringing Kim and his '83 LE with him. We had a good little drive through the State Park.
