Update on the car, I tried to get it to start today, and the battery is dead. Charged it, put in a new fuel filter, and went to crank, no gas going into the engine. The acc pump works when you push the gas, but after pushing it once and holding the gas open, no gas into the venturies. When I was pumping the **** out of it, after a while I thought I flooded it (normal circumstances it WOULD have been flooded) so I pulled all the plugs and none were wet. The rear leading had a little moist spot but that was it.

 

Got the soldiers FD's starting electrical issue finally figured out Tons of broken wires, shorted, pinched,misconnected etc.. Now onto the interior dash electrics not working... solve one find 10

I'll post some daytime pics of it tomorrow.

Also a suprise pic later in the day....

ebay muffler finaly went lol. it was my fault tho, i guess from where my battery was dead and i was trying to crank it the other day i kinda flooded the engine and said **** it and never took the plugs off to deflood it, so i got a new battery cranked it and BOOOOOM! ... and my exhaust got really loud, there's a hole bigger than a quarter on the side of it

 

Man, I can't remember where I got them from, but I will look for you right quick.

haha no not quite, it's just a round hole near the back of the muffler can't really see it unless you get down on your knees haha, but you can definitely hear it.

No, the FB is irritating me. I don't know what it can be. I would assume carburetor related, and I would hate to have to go buy another carb rebuild kit. I took the top off and made sure the needles wern't sticking, and took out all the jets and whatnot and blew compressed air through it.

both engines are in near perfect condition. the turboII engine was just carbon locked and the 12a had already been disassembled but all parts were in cherry condition. guess we just lucked out but im happy to be well on my way to my turbo engine.

 

First time I ever tore down a 12a with good housings! Those things are 9.5/10.

Now it is time to destroy them! Need to find a mill
