Hey everybody! Sorry I've been out of the loop for a while. Bryan works me like a slave sometimes. ha ha.. Not really, but the meet lands every time on the weekend that I have my Army stuff. Believe me, I'm there in spirit. Speaking of Bryan, he told me today about some stuff that he was wanting to do with the Idemitsu oil. He's got a ton of it and he said he would sell it by the case for 10% off. I'm all over the 10W30, but I figured I would let you guys know about it since that includes the Premix oil. He's got some other stuff worked up for 3rd Gen specific applications, but I know you 1st & 2nd gen owners would benefit from this info. He also said something about a 15% discount off the price of the CoolChrome ceramic coatings too. Hope this heads up helps you guys in some way! Oh yeah, I hit 20mpg in my T78 equipped FD.

^^ Long time no see man! Maybe we can have the next meet when you are in town or something. I think I have seen you only a handful of times. Thanks for the heads up on the oil

I average 16-17 MPG daily driven. If I bang 5th all the time, never boost, and shift by 3k I can hit 20 MPG or more. But I rarely do that

Last trip I got 24 mpg highway both ways, in the heat with the windows down. Drops to 17 mpg around town with a heavy foot

I saw Bryan at the Raleigh meet the other weekend. He didn't remember me until he saw my car He's like, oh is that your SA? Seems he remembers cars, not people, which I can relate to.

Just mention to Bryan about just bringing some premix to the meet. I'm sure he can unload a good amout amoung us. If he's up for it, just tell him to let us know before the meet and we can let you guys know how much to bring. I would like for Bryan to come to some more of our meets to talk about him possibly being our supplier . It's not easy for alot of us to come to the shop, so it would be cool if he's willing. Just a thought.

We'll.........I am putting the SA up for sale. If anybody here is interested, I am asking $1600 with the stock wheels. If someone really wants the mesh wheels with it, I'll have to ask $1800. I would like to keep the car, but in reality I don't need it. Most of you guys know what I have in the stable, so I have decided to eliminate one. I will not make a dime on this car. I just would like for someone to finish where I left off. I would like to get it gone before the end of next month. The plate is due then. The inspection will be due then also. I will get it inspected before it runs out. If no one here wants it, pass the word. I will give it a week or two before I post in the for sale section. I kinda need the funds right now and the SA is the only one I can bear to let go.

Aw man! That sucks Sam, Atleast she had a good run in her. Did you ever finish breaking in the engine? Maybe you will decide to keep it again, I hope so.

If I could store another car here, I would be on this if/when I got the funds.

What's up with your car Cory? Are you fearing a engine let go? And where is it at? In moorseville with you? I can come look at it with you on Friday my day off if you like. Don't know what your school schedule is. Just let me know.

FB is running good. I should be welding up the RB header that is cracked at the flange and tube. Then I need to find a collector and add that. Then the whole exhaust will change up.A/C is rockin out First time I used A/C in a car for nearly 10 years..Other than the Saab which I rarely drove.

Hey guys. Good idea on gettin Bryan out to the meet. He needs to get out more anyways. When is the next meet? Have any of you guys heard about the ClubTuesdaynight.com forum? It's a huge car meet that meets every Tuesday night at the new BK off of Williamson Rd. in Mooresville. They meet up around 8:30-9pm ish and hang around till late. I met a really nice guy named Josh, who has a really nice 2nd Gen at the meet; but I'm the only 3rd Gen to ever show up and when Josh is able to make it, we are the ONLY 2 Rotary reps. there. It would be pretty sweet to have all your 1st Gens and 2nd Gens lined up there. Those people would **** themselves. ha ha.

Watch out for Josh, he is shadyj/k buddy. I have heard of these tuesday night gatherings. I may have to swing the FD out next tuesday if I can talk myself into it.

Is it at the BK or the Harris Teeter? So many little meets goin on it's hard to keep them straight.

Dave

Yeah, try seafoaming the crap out of it first. It just might be a stuck or carbon locked seal. Its cheap and lot less work and worth a try.
