George, doesnt your other business buddy like chevys,and has one?? I was wondering if he had a 350 or bigger(longblock with tranny if he has one) forsale. If he does ask how much for it, because I think I might get the truck if we can fix(get to drive/share with dad)it. we just need the engine and tranny if he has it,thanks in advance

dang, I have started working on the truck a little, but dad would kill me if I tried to do body work. I have done some interior stuff to it though. and cleaned a few things on the outside, but we really want the truck running soon

 

steiner you know autocad,Chris is good at that stuff. like, he has a side job and does floor plans for buildings on it. we'll have to show you the severt racing building(one of the fake ones he did)but the other ones are mainly for real buildings. he's good as crap at that stuff. he is in drafting 5 right now

Word. Yeah I like CAD it's got some good capabilities, unfortunately the one I am forced to use up here I am not too happy with. It has great peer to peer capabilities but it doesn't do so well with some of the actually drafting parts.

Oh its just another bone stock engine, nothing special there. Very clean in and out however. Has a complete suspension setup though. The previous owner won 4 divisional championships in the ASP class in SCCA.

I did auto-cad for about 6 years to make a living. It was all civil engineering with softdesk attached to it.

 

So are you going to continue to autocross it?

 

I may try to make a few events out here. I really bought it just as a weekend joy ride though.

 

you should have never sold your old rx. That thing was sweet man. I wanted to buy yours so bad. but didn't have the money at the time. I bought a t04S rx-7 last october, the motor blew about to weeks after i got it. the ****** injector o ring gaskets were torn and half way hanging in the injector holes.....(found that out when i was putting my reman in) the fuel wasn't atamizing and there was a horrible hessitation. Since the reman install and new 1600cc secondaries, haven't had a problem yet.......except.......now i can't aford tires and almost spin out every time i get on it real hard. It sucks to be a poor colege student with no job.....

I hated to sell the black FD, but needed to at the time since we were buying a house and had tons of other bills to pay after making the big move. This FD doesn't have the speed of my first one, but its handles the same if not better and is cleaner inside and out, which is saying a lot. Plus I am really enjoying the silent smooth style of a stock FD.

I haven't done any upgrading to the truck. It already has 1.5 roller tip rockers, headers, exhaust, and the new carb setup I installed. The front plate on the mini was busted after we got out here so a friend of mine gave me that plate.
