Eastern NC RX7 meet...............
Good the less these creatures are captivated and enslaved the better, I recommend freeing the ones enslaved in your town. Or if you give me directions to the town and addresses I'll do it myself. I'm going to take pictures of some of them on their journey south to enjoy relaxation and send them back to the owners.

Hey Tony,
Save your money, buy one that runs next time!
Here is some insight on my Bose units, They may be stuck when you would like to remove them. I had to pull center console, heat/ A/C controls, guage pod, panel under gage pod, end of the dash by the door panel panel, and drop the steering wheel to gain access. After all that it took a sharp tug to remove them. The rear mounting/centering piece (rubber) was grooved down in the brackett. I guess it being old and the vibration over the yrs. had settled it right in. While I was in all that, I wired in the gauge light wiring to the ash tray light. Installed my boost gauge and slapped it all back togather! I'm running around 8-12-8, the 12 is for sure, I didn't really pay that close attenion to the 8's. I guess the three mod rule doesn't apply to me. Down pipe and catback is all I can do for now.

Hope to see you at one of our Raleigh meetings if you get a chance to make it up some Saturday next month.

HAHAHA!!!! Competent dealership mechanic......that's a good one. Trust me I know, after my 87 TII I will never take a 7 to a dealership. BTW my Ranger is a flareside, so it's not really a good bed for sleeping in, but it is covered.

Some of the guys on this thread should know of a competent mechanic in eastern NC. I think they would be closer to G'ville than Kannapolis. Ashraf in Durham is very knowledgeable on 3 gens. It depends on what is wrong with your car, but this forum is a great source of information. I don't know of any dealership that has a competent rotary mechanic. I had Rotorsports Racing in Kannapolis rebuild my engine and they did an excellent job but are kinda far for routine stuff.

I know it is sightly out of your area, but if any of you guys are interseted, RX7 guys are getting together just over the border in VA from some of you guys. Anyone is welcome. We will be at the Hooters on Rt 168 (Battlefield Blvd) in Chesapeake VA. We plan to be there about 4PM on Saturday May 8th. Anyone is welcome.
I'm still cleared HOT! Car work update, I made my fog lights into Daytime running lights, and while I was at it I found one of my A/C pressure switches was unplugged. Wondering about that one, because it hadn't worked since I've owned the car. Seller said it just stopped workng over the winter? Well the compressor comes on meaning the clutch and everything works now! However it doesn't stay on long 5 to 8 secs. I think it just needs to be serviced.
