George, you where right, the fuel Injectors are screwed up, but there fixing everything for us

and just as a hint, if you want to see an amazing difference in fuel economy and performance get them to do a REALLY good itnake cleaning on it. 3M makes a really good cleaning system, but any good intake charge cleanign system will work.

 

yeah, his truck gets crappy gas mileage right now

that is not too bad with that motor and 4wd

 

heh damn my 1/4 mile skills suck. even though this was technically the first time i've ever ran the car, and only had a stick for about a month. best time was 14 flat at 108 i think. I got horrible wheel hop off the line and then i would either bog 2nd or miss 3rd, ha. it was fun though, i need to get some real tires.

 

it is now actually 17, I thought Chris said it was 18, but he said 17.

nope, he hasnt been flooring it or anything, prolly because we have to fix the seat, because if he does floor it at all the seat slides backwards, and were gunna look at it and fix it, one of the teeth arent gripping right, so we have to fix that

 

Hey George, I have 8 aluminium pistans you can buy from me?? There for a 327 bored.030 over?? ya know anyone that can use them, and would pay for them?? I'll prolly buy a welder if I can find someone to buy them from me. There in good condition, the rods on them are trash though, but the pistons are fine, from what my dad said?

 

i had that problem in one of my dads old jeeps. i jstu put it where i wanted it and welded it

 

I can't believe I handed someone else the keys to my RX-7. Now it's their RX-7...I'm holding back tears.

Now it's time to start looking for an engine, I'm ready to build a race motor. Hows "Project: Monster N/A" sound? I dunno, gotta make a few truck payments first. We'll still keep in touch.

if i were you i would drop teh dream of the race car for a while. i speak from experience when i say that it is not worth it in the end.

 

BTW, did you trade the car with all of the performance stuff or did ya take it off first? just curious

 

we took it all off, it was just the strut tower brace. It was the only thing we could take off, everything else came on the car besides the clutch, but Chris broke the other thats why we got that one anyways

 

hey george, my dad said the pistons are still reusable. he said they arent so bad that it would throw off compression, and it will work just fine.
