BTW, mind if i ask how much the S10 is? mileage? auto or manual? and have ya checked on teh price of insurance yet

 

we can affod it, the guy has 8900 on it, but said he just threw it way up there so he could drop it down. He can prolly drop it to about 7500, or a little bit lower maybe. It has 109,000 miles, and is automatic, everything works, power everything, 4wd, no body work needed at all, already has bed lining, tool box, and nice looking tires and stuff. all we are prolly gunna do is intake, and the old bullet hole rims(100$ Each), but thats after we get it, if we do get it

and i can tell you that if you are planning n going offroading much, don;t get a full intake. just get the performance filter for the factory box. the open element filters plug up really bad offroad,. trust me. i have to clean my k&n filters every time i offroad cuz i got the open filter kits.

 

yeah, Vortec 4.3l, dont know about the second one though. we dont have th money to do open filter anyways, we were gunna do the k&N drop in

 

if it is the vortec 4.3 with the plastic plenum it has the central multi-port injection........i hate those vortec motors. good luck with it.

GEORGE, We got the s10 today, car is GONE. The seven got OWNED (by the dealer)

 

I can't believe I gave her up, I think I'm experiencing "Post -7- Depression". It's a tough loss, but it's just a car and I've got to get over it. I'm not really as obsessed as I seem, it's just tough giving up a car guys first car. Now I've just got to enjoy my first truck. It runs good, it's very solid and extremely torquey. Can't wait to get her dirty. I'll post a pic later.

Hey george, today me and Chris Might go fill up a 5 gallon gas tank with some 110 octane, and put it in the four wheeler when It runs out. My dad floored the thing half way through second, and when he shifted into third, the front wheels came up, and he wasnt trying to, that thing is FAST.

 

went to a shitty 1/8th mile track today, but it was a little wet. Couldn't get any traction, just wheelhop.
