If it wasn't so late I'd come. I've got to work tonight and we're having a meet tomorrow anyway. Hope to see everyone there.

I'm also having a 1st gen issue... anyone else have problems with the fuel door not opening when the tank is empty and the car is at a gas station? I swear the Cheeto is on a hunger strike again. It's done this before twice, only when the tank is empty and I'm at the gas station. As soon as I get home, it'll pop open first try. Little bastard! Now I have to coast my way to another gas station with the fuel door already open.

Is it an electric or cable popper? It doesn't even click or anything, at least not until I'm at least 1 mile from a source of gasoline. If it's electric, I've got a bad connection somewhere. If it's a cable then there's probably too much slack.

That makes sense. Now I see why they switched to a cable on the 2nd gens.

Whatever floats your boat I guess. Say... you never answered me about the S4 MAF adapter piece... how much you want for one? Got a cone filter to go with it?

Okay, well bring the adapter. I'll eBay me a filter. I need to get some more supplies before I can build the intake pipe.

Nice Steiny, hopefully I'll get to see it running before you leave town. The red parts look like my TII when I bought it. Oh, and that's just dust particles that your camera picked up. Not much you can do about that. Oh, and I know all about those stubborn screws. Mine were all rusted in place and will have to be drilled out. Drilling through a gas tank is not on my list of enjoyable activities.

Derrick, that TPS made the TII slightly more user-friendly. I'm going to try adjusting the higher ranges, I think they might be out of whack since the symptoms cover both sensors. I still think my throttle body has a bit too much tension for some reason.

got those screws out! let some liquid wrentch (like wd40) sit on the screws for about 3-4 hrs to let it penetrate good. then took a hammer and screw driver, set to a low angle on the side of the screw, and with a few good whacks got some turn on them. got some replacements from lowes (m4-0.70x12 machine screws. they are like 1/8" longer but they still dont bottom out) if anyone needs some. home depot dosent carry screws that small

Liquid Wrench has never really helped me much. My bolts are always beyond stuck. I have a hard time finding good metric screws at the hardware stores, I ended up having to go to Napa for some stuff.

I'll try to get those pics up soon Derrick, most of them came out pretty dark though.
