ok guys i need some help, my car is acting weird
when i hit the gas it seems to have a delay in the acceleration and there is a major lacking of power

I think i have a spare NA afm sitting around, but as for a tps i dont have spares, all of mine are on cars working diligently to annoy me.
Cody, there's no real way to tell if you have T2 rotor's in your NA, but if you think you do, it will accelerate rather poorly. Get a compression test done to see if its not blown if your thinking what im thinking your thinking.....damn that sounded confusing.
Mike, I'll more than likely be back in maryville this upcoming weekend to get some more done to the widebody now that it lives again, so ill be in the area.

TII rotors in an NA would kill power as Derrick said. I dunno why anyone would do that though unless they intended on building a turbo setup for it.
Hmm... Red, my first idea would be to change the fuel filter. It could be low fuel pressure. If not, maybe the Technical Problem Simulator... TPS.
Alright so I'm down to .5 RX-7's now. The Cheeto has a new pump but still won't start. It's getting fuel now but it keeps fouling plugs. I'm going to try buying a new set. The TII runs but after some play at WOT it refuses to idle. Every symptom says vacuum leak but I've searched and searched two days now and can't find one. Screw it, I need a new motor. Okay, not really... it's just frustrating.

Welp, I called the dealership back about the GTU to make an offer and they done broke it. The guy said it's not getting any power and they're waiting for parts so the mechanic can fix it. He always says "I don't know, the mechanic knows" when I ask things. It's really disappointing that he doesn't know anything...he owns a TII! So yeah, he told me to call back Saturday and test drive it again. Jimi wanted me to share
hahaha you realize....if you get this GTU you will bring it down for us to tinker with it right? or to at least fix the fuckup's the stealership is going to make?

I can't believe they messed it up. I really wanna know what they could have done to it in a week. They're not gonna get 4k for it if they blew the motor. Only thing I can figure is the fuel pump died.
In other news, people are stealing catalytic converters in Knoxville. They cut them out of a bunch of trucks at West Town Mall to extract the platinum. I think I'd be curious if I got into my truck and it suddenly got louder and more powerful. If anyone wants to try to get the platinum out of my cats, PM me. You can gut them for free, if you can get them off. Gooooood luck, I've tried twice.

Come on dooooown. If the stealership hasn't ruined the GTU then it should make it. I know neither of my things would. The TII doesn't have cruise control... at least not anymore.
Good news... the Cheeto lives again! I'm taking it easy on it as I break the new pump in. I don't want any surprises. Mounting it was a nightmare, which makes no sense because it had the same thing in it to begin with. I found a vacuum leak on the back side of the TII's engine bay. I'm going to have to pull the entire UIM to replace the hose so I'm saving that for this weekend.

We usually meet here in Knoxville and sometimes head down to Maryville and Deals Gap, NC. We should have meet sometime next month, so keep checking back with us. Just gotta get everyone together. If you have a first gen you'll feel right at home, I think we have more FB's in our group than FC's now.
i just dont know why in the hell it idles so damn high. when its cold it runs at 800 and when it warms up it runs about 1500!! i dunno anyway its legal now so im driving it and letting the ol honda rest. it still needs some work but what doesnt. yea we need to get a meet together soon. brillo is trying to get rid of the eg and the t2!

Ohhh okay. What else is new? He had one, he just never put the puzzle together. I hope he gets a new one soon. If not this year I know he'll have one when tax refund time comes around. If he wanted a 1st gen I'd be tempted to sell him the Cheeto now that it's daily drivable again.

yea he wants 2500 for it and he wants your t2 derek. umm bac?? and i still cant figure out where the gas smell is coming from. its driving me crazy i really hope its not the fpd but i took that cap off and the screw is still in so...yea.
