That's pretty much a no-brainer, Derrick. For 150 you could probably get both front and rear bumpers plus all the trimmin's. Oh, don't forget though... the S4 turn signals do nooot fit into the S5 bumper. I'm thinking the GP Sport is the same since it's based on the S5 design.

The thing about lips is they ALWAYS get broken, no matter how careful you are. All it takes is one careless squirrel. So it's good to have a replaceable one. Too bad they're usually $200 and up.
yeah, I also plan on reinforcing the nose a bit. Im thinking something more solid than the shitty crushed crapp i have right now, maybe some 1/8" steel plating or 1/4".
yeah, gonna make it so if/when i hit soemthing with the nose it/they will feel soemthing. Not to mention giving me a newish undertray for the bumper area, which should force more air through my radiator and oil cooler.

Sounds like something out of Carmageddon! You know what would reinforce it quite a bit? A couple heavy saws.
If I had the equipment to make molds for fiberglass, I'd like to make one for a front lip. It would be nice to be able to lay a new one if the original gets destroyed, and I'm sure a lot of people would want one.

why chainsaws liz? Id much prefer a couple of chainguns mounted in the huge gaping map of the new nose. But either way I go I have to build up a new lower mounting plate for the entire bumper structure, as well as the vent ducts. Perfect project when I yank the fenders off.
The mold idea is nice though.

I meant normal saws... although I can see the logic in your chaingun approach. Shred anything that threatens your front end before it even gets there.
I need to work out a way to duct my intake with minimal cutting. I guess I'll relocate the windshield wiper resevoir if I have to.

Does anyone have some oil cooler lines/fittings (S4 N/A) that they don't want anymore? They don't have to be usable, I just want some to use a template to take to a hydraulic shop so I can have them make me a new pair.

A circle track?? "My right butt cheek hurts from turning left all day..." Well have fun with that. So who is coming tomorrow? And who's running the Triangle with us?

Kroger's on Northshore Drive, 10:30 is the meet, 11am is when the Z's are gonna show up, and we're hoping on leaving around 11:30. Beef, it's what's for breakfast. Do you really want to eat a nice big breakfast before driving up there?
Everyone keep an eye out for Johnny McLaw and his shenanigans, it's St. Patty's Day weekend and the cops are gonna be setting up roadblocks and other BS like that. Hopefully we won't get harrassed once we get out of town though.
