I bet you have a parts tree growing in your back yard that you can just pull stuff off of from time to time.
Has anyone checked out that thread on the stolen Knoxville car? It's a black 88 N/A, check out the thread and keep your eyes out. If someone is out stealing 7's we need to catch 'em in the act, take them to an undisclosed location, and... part them out eBay style.

Yeah I'll get to work on the pics soon, I've been so busy this weekend. Mostly with everyone else's cars! Tomorrow will probably be more of the same.
Derrick, have you guys checked the VIN to see if it's actually an SE or a GSL with some swapping? Obviously it's had a lot of work done to it over the years.

We have meets in Knoxville every couple weeks or so. As far as the Tri-cities go, I know there's some 7's up there but the population is pretty sparse. Most of us are around the Knoxville and Maryville/Alcoa area. Our next meet is the 30th of this month... SCCA regional autocross at Pellissippi State. Care to cruise inbetween some cones? Or you could just come to spectate.
Hi guys,
Good to know that there is an RX-7 club close......I live in the Asheville area. Would like to ride out to Knoxville or meet up at 129~Dragon's Tail as that's old stomping grounds......know a few other choice roads in the area as well.

Nice to meet you. We'll probably have another Dragon cruise soon. We usually like to take a run before DGRR. If you wanna come into Knoxville, we'll be at the above mentioned autocross on the 30th.
No problem Jeremy, glad it's living again. You can't stop an RX-7 from leaking, it's what they do... but good luck!

Nice Jeremy, be nice to see the first gen running again.
Oh and as promised pics of the widebody back from the body/paint guy down the road.

Heres the 5lug rear end...

Sweet! It's a stealth fighter... or maybe a stealth bomber with the widebody kit. That hood and front piece look almost like carbon fiber. Did he have to do any more work to the nose? I know we never finished it and it looks really straight.
well the hood needs replaced period, and the front header panel is iffy at best, still very...dingy but its MUCH straighter than the hood. The bumper itself is fixed, the spoiler fixed, and as you can tell, the front end will be getting a Re-speed hub conversion when fundns permit. In the meantime though Im gonna get it up on jackstands and remove the wheels to see what all needs done.
In my opinion theres no way this things making it to any meets in teh near future. Needs tires and brakes badly, the exhaust needs 'updated', rubber seals need replaced, and im still going through wiring harness for fired wires. Not to mention that the front end still needs the re-speed fc brake adapter ordered and installed. But y'all more than welcome to drop by and see it in person....and I hope to be at a meet myself soon.
Oh! And it needs a new pair of mirrors asap...but the BIG part is out of the way.

Stupid question before I go calling up pull-a-part in the morning, but would anyone happen to have a set of stock mirrors for a first gen and, heres a longshot, but I need a plastic retaining clip for the bars on the headlight motor on the passenger side.
