yea but the civic has drivin for 5 years and is my daily driver. well all not its not smart to have a rotary as a daily driver. its been done...jimmy!! but not for me...now anyways. it was kinda funny actually i slammed it into 2 and heard a grind and click click click click and that was all she wrote. ******* honda oe spring housings on the clutch disc!!!!

 

Yeah I know, rotary daily driver = bad idea. That's why I have two. Although it really sucks when they both go down at once like they did last month. So I guess it's a good idea to put money into the Civic if it's for reliability and upkeep.

 

Thats the same thing that happen to Brillo right???

 

Which part, two broken RX-7's or putting money into a Civic only to have the clutch go out?

 

The clutch disk broke the sme way on his t2 before he sold it .

ive had a daily driven fc for 3 years now >.> 1 clutch and 2 used motors later lol

 

That's pretty bad when you replace the motor twice as often as the clutch.

 

eh, first replace lasted 20k since it was a high mileage autobox motor. but y'know whats fun?

watching teh paint peel away from a 1st gens hood as it sits outside with a thick coat of paint stripper.

 

I bet that smells good .. Ah yes paint stripper .

 

yeah....last coat of stripper before the sander comes out to rip this hunk of bondo off.

 

woot. yea it was kinda the same way his inner spring came out mines still in just the clips holding it in are coming apart. 400 for a exedy stage 2 and xtd 8lbs flywheel so not too bad. but yea that coulda been a nice clutch for the 7 or that bride steering wheel im trying to get for it

 

well ima drive around and stuff so if anybody wants to cruise somehwere before the meet gimme this ****** a call. oh yea just an idea but a drive in to a park near by after the meet??????

 

see wasted honduh money, why get an 8lb flywheel for a civic when a lighter flywheel for the 7 makes oh so much more sense

 

That could be arranged, there's a lot of parks in Northshore which isn't that far at all. I gotta go get ready and fill up all the stuff that's leaking before I leave. See you guys at 4:30.

 

Anytime a bunch of guys have to push start an FB in a relatively flat parking lot, it's a fun meet. I'm glad it started at Sonic though... push starting it down Kingston Pike in that traffic would have been a little hazardous. Here's the pics!

Lou drove it in, first time I've ever seen him in a 7. And then it flooded nicely and took about 20 minutes to get started... gotta love first gens.
