derrick according to TTT he said the power rack that I have is not that hard to turn and also the manual rack adds an extra few rotatings of the wheel or something. either way it's what i have and the correct depowering of my rack would make it just as smooth. I don't know I'm tired.

yeah just a few rotations, but honestly I cant tell the difference. Guys running smaller diameter than stock steering wheels would notice it more though.

But either way you go with it you still have to remove the rack to properly "depower" it anyway, since there is no room under your hood to properly work without breaking something.

Dont worry about that sensor too much, I broke the same one and have yet to replace it. I might switch it out with another one when my Koyo radiator gets here.

They're always early Derrick... these things last all day. Believe me, if you pay 25-30 bucks to compete, you want to get as many runs in as possible, and with 70+ cars, that can be difficult. Pellissippi events are actually a bit later than a lot of the others, I guess because it's considered "in the boonies" (even though it's my stomping grounds) and people from surrounding counties have to drive quite a ways.

A quick note to anyone running... make sure your battery is properly secured! No bungee cords or duct tape, has to have some sort of plastic or metal brace. You can get them at Advanced for under 5 bucks.

I'm gonna show up early Derrick, probably between 9 and 10 so I can get my car teched before the line gets too long. You probably don't wanna come that early if you're not running but it's up to you. First car is off at 12:30.
well you guys are lucky xD roads up north here suck >.>
eitherway look for a RHD FD in VR with CT licence plates on Deals Gap, that'll be me, hopefully within the year.

Chicken McTesticles for breakfeast?! Make sure you get that seatbelt fixed Prelude, that's one thing they actually care about. Other than that, they're pretty relaxed so unless your bumper is literally falling off Derrick, you should be fine.

Hey, someone bring a couple of extra biscuits from McDonald's and you will be reimbursed. Just plain ones.

Lol i still dont have nor require a battery strap, and yes, my bumper is on the verge of death, plus the left side busted foglight would get flagged. But regardless id rather just watch for now If im going to autocross Id like to make use of sticky tread, and since its been crappy rain all day here it wont be no fun over there with the sliding i know is going no happen.

Wooooo, Salzzzzza!! Today was a hoot, I'm hooked again. As if RX-7's weren't expensive enough already, right? Might as well add to the habit. So guess what...

We have our own Photobucket!

http://s287.photobucket.com/albums/l...astTNRotaries/

I went ahead and set one up for everyone to add their pictures to, that way we can keep them all together and have somewhere to host them.

I'm adding pics from today in the "Autocross 3-30-08" album (up on the menu to the left.) So feel free to upload pics from today to that folder... just PM me and I'll give you the password.

We also have a new e-mail... EastTNRotaries@yahoo.com
