Went to a sintered act disc two weeks ago. The 6puk act disc was showing signs of wear. Held up pretty good IMO. 8 months with well over 100 pass and roughly 40 of them were 145 to 152 mph pass'.

Details.

Ran a 9.25 and lost to the GOTO Autoworks red 240 with the 2jx power glide. He ran a 9.49. I lost sleeping on the line. His .1 to my .4

Best 1/8 mile was 6.01 at 123mph. low 1.4 60 ft times.

Got to do something with the waste gate. Add another one or go 66mm. 1st and 2nd gear are with in one psi of desired boost. 3rd gear is good but 4th gear is to much and have to peddle it through 4th to stop the boost from reaching the rich part of the map. Never had this issue with the HKS style ebay 50mm gate.

Hope to make Dallas IFO next weekend. But will see how the drive home goes. 900 miles.

think there is a 8.9 in the car. Just have to get the boost sorted out. Then more boost can be run in the first 3 gears. Also throw in some "squeeze"

My 3rd gear takes me to the 1/8 mile. Calculating my rpm and gear ratio, i'm shifting into 4th gear through the 1/8 mile traps. The shifter slipped out of my hand shifting into 4th causing me to miss 4th gear. So the car just cruised from the 1/8 to the 1/4 mile. still ran a 10.0

Few notes.

The upper stock four link mounts were being pulled from the chassis causing bad pinion angle resulting is bad 60 ft times. Braced the stock mounts and had to readjust the pinion angle to get us back into the 1.3 60 ft times.

Modified the 60mm waste gate to flow almost 50% more exhaust. Now able to control boost in 3rd and 4th gear. With that done we're able to run more boost in 1st and 2nd gear. Having to run a low boost in the first two gear to help control boost in last two gear was hurting my et. Now things are looking up. Now able to run a decent boost in the first two gears. Happy happy happy.

Also changed the first gear ratio to a lower numerical number. WOW what a difference. Now we can run even more power off the line and looking for some 1.2 second 60 ft times in the near future.

2.60 first
4.56 rear gear
28x10x15 Hoosiers
Tire pressure at 9 / 10 psi
Lots of boost and rpm of the line

This wakes up second gear.

Still testing a few things.

My pinion angle

Lower bar is flush with the ground. Upper bar is pointed downward toward the bottom of my front tires. My pinion angle mimics my engine angle. Now to fine tune it to my power, clutch, rear springs and tires. Looking for some 1.2 60 ft times.

Did some testing this week.
Removed the intercooler and added water meth injection. 50/50 mix. Intercooler was a ebay 31x12x4. WOW what a difference. More testing next week and hope to break a 8.9 pass.
