8.54 Untubbed!

On the weekend, Dave McPhersons untubbed Corolla improved again to an amazing 8.54 at 159mph ..... . The setup is a 13B with a GT45, C16 fuel and Microtech ECU. Tyres are 28x9's.

I'll link a pic when they are online.

He specifically chose the Corolla as they have massive guards stock, he hasnt touched them, whereas 26inch is the max on an RX3. There is also another Corolla that has run 8.84 at 153 with a 3spd.

does any one know of a website that post TOP DRAG RACERS?

i'm looking for records, top - fastest drag cars out there, i want to know whos fast and etc. I know fullboost.com.au has some serious racers but i'm looking for INTERNATIONAL drag racers records, because i see alot of this and that and saying worlds fastest front wheel is some guy in an integra even though it's steven p. with his coupe civic, and some other 4 cyl car is the fast when it's at 9.xx sec, i saw somewhere that there is a 4 cyln 240sx auto hitting 7 secs but i can't seem to find that magazine. and who is the toppest rotary? doesn't matter if tubb or not. give me some links people!

600HP - How about actually reading the records list on fullBOOST?

The integra is the fastest FWD in these parts (Aus and NZ), the list also mentions Steph in his Civic as being fastest IN THE WORLD. And the 240SX hitting sevens actually has a GTR motor in it and is owned/run by HKS.

i saw another 240sx, about 1998 model, that should be S14.5 but on the advertisment said it's a 200SX automatic and the HKS one is 180SX.

your 240sx is called a 200sx in Australia.

there is a 200sx here with a fj20 motor in it and has run 8.12 @ 165mph and its auto. maroon and white in colour.

even though we use the metric system we still race to the 1/4 mile with trap speeds read in MPH
