wish me luck!!!!
gonna compete in my first actual race this weekend! there is a fairly large 1/8 mile event this weekend at Seally raceway in Sealy texas. test and tune saturday and event on sunday. the car is running good although i cannot run as much boost as i want until i get another pump but since it is only 1/8 mile i might be able to push it a little bit and get 26 psi out of it!!
it is a bunch of hillbillies and rednecks and i dont even know if they will let me run or not ( dual power adder and 2300 lbs) so i may end up bracket racing :-( either way i will get some good seat time in the car.
MWW ......kinda excited!!.....

well due to mother nature going ballistic this afternoon, the 1/8 mile track is not going to run tomorrow but should still be able to run sunday. i am going to houston raceway tomorrow and test and tune out there, i did not get a chance to put another pump on the car so i doubt if i will be able to get into the 8's but should get close.

Crispeed i have a single 2025a!!!! i knew i was going to need two of them and now i do!! the race was canceled due to the enormous amount of rain that fell friday!! so i went to baytown to attempt to a few passes and had nothing but bad luck the whole day. while doing the burnout i went into top gear and the power fell off , it felt like a pipe came off. when i went to stage it would not go over 4500 on the brake with NOS...so i just rolled out and cruised down the track at a record breaking 15.90 @ 42 mph!!! when i got back to the pits and shut the car off it would not start back up? felt like it was dragging the starter. after about 30 minutes it started up like nothing was wrong and went on the brake to 6500 rpms and 1.7 bar!! so i lined back up and did a light burnout and it did the same **** again! i dont know WTF is going on!

Sorry to hear that but that's all part of the game we love so much. It's called 'New car bugs'. Don't worry you'll figure it out. The best thing you can do is to get together with some buddies and rent the track and you'll have all the time to work out the bugs.
As for your fuel pump I think you're pushing your luck especially at 1.7 bar!

yeah, i know!!!! luckily i am running a 16 volt system and that gives me a little more headroom. i did not expect to go full throttle all the way down the track anyway, i was going to blast out of the hole on the first pass and see how far i could go before it started to lean out!!!
