!!!!!!! I don't think so !!!!!!!

Adam Saruwatari (A&L RACING) 93 FD runs consistent 8.90's at 149mph and he's still using the stock IRS set up making them the quickest and fastest in the world!!!!!!

adam's lowest certified run
9.34 1/4
but that car is really non street'able it has a Jerico tranny
rx7.com car is another matter that is a FULL street car
with "stock" drivetrain...no willie bars...no slicks/DOT tires..full exhaust system...a TRUE street car
9.58 1/4

theres a vid of the green 1st gen at fullboost.com.au btw

Adam's 8 sec run is official!
I saw the video of two runs he did in the 8's.
I believe the video was available at overboost .com some time back.

The green 7 also has a jerrico and wheelie bars.

Setup is a 13B of some description with a turbonetics Y2K hanging off the side.

just a question, but is the australian tracks a full 1/4 mile? I know some places its just shy of a 1/4, and I've heard 'rumor' of something about a 1000' foot track instead of 1320?
anyone know anything about this?

The only place that I know of the tracks are shorter is in Japan!
The tracks are 400 metres or just over 1200 ft.
Here a 1/4 mile is 1320 ft.

400 meters is close enough for me....

400 meters is actually 1312 feet.

The 8 feet difference at 130mph is covered in about .04 seconds. That's close!

That green 7 I'd say would pass more in the looks department as a stealth/true street car if it didn't have the wheelie bars than Adam's car.

The rx7.com car just rocks with the stock configured drivetrain!

Shooting for 125mph traps in my turbo 1st gen by September....Last best time was a 14.1 with a sprayed, carbed 12a.

Some of the tracks in Japan are also slightly down hills.

I never believe any Japanese timeslips.

Where did I say I only wanted high 13's?

Last setup that was in the 1st gen at the track was a stock 12a with exhaust and a bottle. That's where I put the 14.1 number in. Stock EVERYTHING except for exhaust, had a cat replacement pipe and 2.25" from there back.
That was still 3.90 gears with terrible 2.3? second 60 ft times.

Now it has some tire, 4.44's on a LSD center. The bottled 12A should have run easy mid 13's on a 1.7 60ft time. Won't get a chance to see, it'll either have a stock 12A without nitrous or the full 13b turbo setup, depending on if I need it to daily drive here in a month.

No your not getting what im saying. A 125mph trap speed should be a mid 11 et and your only running a 14.1 or even a mid 13 is WAY off.

125 should be a low 11 or even 10 sec time. But he could be expecting terrible wheel spin.

Only time will tell

Well the rx7 has gone quicker running a 9.38 at 144mph .Question time is the Rx7 of Adams a regestered car does it have 8 inch tires because this rx7 is registered and has 8 inch tires and has only been out for a few months.Adams car has been running for quite a few years to get to those times. One thing that Aussie rotors have got over yours are majority a fully legal and registered to drive on our roads.8second rotors on the street .Any of yous seen (RMASTR) Rotormasters R100 20B 960 hp best time is 8.21 at----------- mph soon to run in the sevens Before the New car comes out.Quote from his page This new project will undoubtly put him in international record he is seeking. So sounds to me he's planning to blow you Yanks away.I wouldnt underestermate him either the r100 runs straight and hard not like abels car. Full steel body as well. What about Pac Performances car (PACMAN) since been sold to a customer best time of an 8.41 .This Rx3 is also registered and i have seen it driving on the street have a photo from a servo as well.its 13b turbo as well. :o

Ok so some Aussie race car got plates and drives on the streets. If you really wanted to put tags on any car you could. That doesnt make it a street car. So far you Aussies are still way behind. You guys need at least a 7.5 to start talking as far as race cars go. And untubbed you still have to beat a 8.9.

Not sure where you got 960hp from for Joes car. 960hp, whether it was flywheel or rear wheel, would pull high 17xmph, not low 160s like the R100 gets.

I have for a long time said that Australia is a long way from being close to a contender in the rotary world. With Siguel recently going 7.33@181mph and being able to do it time and time again, our closest repeatable time is a low 8. NO Aussie car has been able to run a 7 second pass twice.

When I talk about these sorts of things, 99% of people will say that Australia and Puerto Rico/America are different. There cars are full chassied and have fibreglass/carbon fibre bodies etc etc etc. Basically, who cares? They (US/PR) have run the numbers and do it easy, and Australia can't.

Aussie Horsepower

Well first off AJC13B read his website it says it all there and Tell me who makes the most Horsepower out of a 13BT?Well ill tell ya we do Maztech had it now Dyson has it .I think that says that we can build a 13BT Better than The Usa and PR. Id much rather see something that can drive on the street and still run low 8,s than a full out drag car Because thats what most of your cars are Dragcars .And i dont think Adams car holds the record any way because theirs a PR RX3 coupe running 8.70 untubbed so!!!!!Now heres a car from Oz that runs 9.60 is untubbed as well and can be driven on the street with no trouble from the authorites look at www.fullboost.com.au Vlad Berek is his name and the car is an 808(rx3)13bturbo.

LOL :p An 808/rx-3 that's 'no trouble from the authorities' that's a joke. Day 1 of police pursuit training is a full day of recognising rx-3's from any distance at any angle Day 2 is being able to hear a bridge-port from 10k away (not hard)

Still, nobody could doubt that the Mazfix FD is the best looking drag rotary around!
