Thats funny, being that most people aren't even skilled enough drivers to take a car such as the rx-7 to the handling limit. Turns don't scare me.

Maybe. Drag racing leaves a lot of variables b/c of launching, plus due to the inevitable heat and traction problems at the strip my FD never does well at strips. We may just stick to some 20-140 roll ons......

Hey Rich, good luck with the race, same with Ihor, it will be fun to see the new outcome. Alot of trash talking between people who aren't even racing, funny. As far as trap speeds and 1/4 mile goes, another tech at at my work has a 240Z, trapped 12.6@99 mph with 200 whp on nitrous ..its not that his car has crazy hp, but it hooks up and is geared really low and he can drive really good...and usually the car he is racing traps higher MPH times just because its making more power...I believe his new motor setup dyno'ed 174 hp to the wheels on motor and 270 whp on nitrous. Another advantage is his car weighs 2475 lbs with driver. And about the comment with Mexicans, what does that have to do with anything?? I am South Korean, Steve Kan is chinese, Ray wilson is half Vietnamese, Ramy is middle eastern, so would you use race as a point of attack if you had a arguement or disagreement of opinion with them??Arguements/disagreements should be based on other things than that my friend.

Naw, ErnieT's car is still "under construction" I run race gas just because I know I wont have to worry about bad gas, can run the high boost when I want, and my car is not my daily driver so I dont care about cost.

Boost is gear dependent, but the car makes about 10 psi by 3800 and 15-17 psi by 4300, give or take a bit.

Ihor, I'll ask my brother if he knows of a place.
