lol this thread is crazy. let us say that he was beat buy an suv. That in itself is hard to cope with. thier are very fast suv's all over the place. plus i wanted to make a comment that someone had made earlier about the fastest street car. I thought it was the titan motorsports supra that ran like a 9 second quater. i was watching that somewhere. i could be wrong but that is what i saw.

the touaregs are V10 Twin Turbo Diesel, 308 AWHP & 553 lbs-tq ... stock from teh dealer, i used to work at VW, and the owner of the dealer had one, and we were 5 in it and we smoked a 350z ( the guy was alone ) we smoked him 1-2-3-4-5 gears ..... the cluster on those monster shows 320 KMH !!!

its a freakin beaast, i drove it for a while .. and its unbelivable

killing people in SUVs is fun. I raced a srt-10 viper truck in my stock subaru forester XT numerous times. we kept racing from a deadstop in a pretty short road. he kept racing me over and over again trying to figure out why the hell he was losing. I sat there for 5 minutes in between runs trying to convince him that i was stock.

 

Not that much of a leap as far as potential goes.
A few weeks ago on "Trucks" they took a stock Cummins Dodge. Added Bully Dog Propane injection, a shot of N20, new injectors and used a programmer, added intake and exhaust and made something like 800+ RWHP and nearly 2000 RWTQ. I'm not shitting you here. I don't recall the numbers exactly but what I posted above was pretty damn close. All this and they DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH THE TURBO!!!!!

Those numbers will put you you at INSANE speeds. Diesels are the new hot rods. Making power is SO much easier than with anything that runs on gas.

 

Im sorry but this is a hell of a stupid post. Your trying to prove some point about they didnt touch the turbo but with the programmer they upped the boost to like 60psi, which is like a 40psi increase. Still, say they made that much power and they took it to the strip, do you know what these trucks redline at?! If you caught a thread earliar about this kid talking smack about my car from his F350, well I never told anyone how it ended. Basically someone told the kid or he did some research on my car and it was the end of crap talk, he thought it was just a fixed up miata. Anyways, this kids truck is triple chipped, full exhaust, upgraded turbo, intake etc etc. I ran into him oneday when I was getting something done to my car at a high performance truck shop and he told me some interesting stuff. He goes to the strip quite often to race his truck, and he says he puts down low 13s. Thats pretty dam impressive and he could smoke most other cars around, but his truck could easily get killed by a slightly modded 7. He says he has to set his truck into launch mode, and that its a 6 spd auto tranny. He normally redlines at ~3k rpm. At idle no exagerations the truck sounds like a small aircraft preparing to take off. All these mods, his truck is fast, but INSANE speeds? Get a grip. This story is ages old but I have to call BS. I fail to see how a Turbo V10 Diesel could be unnoticed, besides you dont even mention any black smoke which highpower diesels are notorious for! And no diesels are not the new hotrods, yes they can be powerful and fast for little money in mods, but consider that a heavily modified truck can bearly top stock 7s, Im not worried.

that lightned up picture is odd. cause he said "Blacked out" and unless my eye are fooling me.. if ya look through the back window it looks pretty :Clear" to me... although i dont think this occasion happened i dont dout it Could have given all the circumstances.. no

other thing.. i've seen a (think it was a BMW X5) SUV with a Mecleran F1 (forgive spelling) engine installed. it just freaking ripped..... i'll try to find the video but dont hold your breathe.....

i think this could have happened i'm not sure if did happen do the detail of the author... considering that unless the vehicle to the left in the picture had alot of body work done... those lights+hood+fender look nothing like a Touregs... my $0.02 though...
