I was on my way home from my bros house this afternoon when I see 2 black cars cuting in and out of trafic. The beretta was first to come up on me. At first he passed me up (witch i didnt mind didnt really feel like wasting my time and at idel my carb is flooding alil) but he get 2 cars ahead and slow to match my speed, I look over and give him a "wow your a dumbass" look and he just points str8 ahead. with out warning he down shifts and nails it. I shortly do the same took me most of 3rd (what i downshifted to) to get him but by mid 4th he was 1 1/2 - 2 cars behind me.


So then the civic passes the retta and get beside me and hold up 3 fingers and honks. I give a "ok" nod and started listening for the hoonks. He give it 3 and we take off. Down to 3rd and im gone, he had no chance. Im guessing they knew eachother cause they both did the famous "ricer" flyby and turned.


Both looked pretty stock - the mufflers they had. I used to own a beretta 3.1 and they are quick off the line but crap topend still I dont see how I beat the retta.


my mods, Full exhaust not rb but i have thier header to a 3'' no cat and a fartcan , not one of them wal-mart but a nice racative one. also rats removed, sed mod on my carb (witch is why its flooding).

How can i tell if the seconds are opening w/o the mod? I can feel **** while driving with the mod off.

The Berreta must have had either a bad driver or the motor was shot. They are pretty stout. How you beat one I dont know I tried running down my friends in my FC and it was close But i pulled away after we hit 90. They top out at 115mph and stock they make 153Hp and 170FT depending on the model. With a good flowing exhaust and a cam, ported manifolds you can hit 190hp easy. Good kill though.
