Dumb person in Civic SI

Dumb person in Civic SI
My sister in law just challenged my TII to go against her and her husbands Civic Si. It only has a intake, headers, and exhaust oh a loud stereo and some ricer stuff. But they think since my car is a 1.3 and a 87' that thier car will burn my car off the line and top end. But I wont be able to show them a real car until about March when I go down there(FL). She even willing to put money on it. She use to hang around with me when I have a 90' Talon AWD that ran 11.9 in the 1/4 and she thought she knew something about cars then but now this guy is corrupting her head about thier Civic Si and making it worse. Now they think that is the fastest thing in the world. And she was trying to tell me that his dad has a del sol runing 8s in the 1/4.
Man this guy needs to get his *** handed to him. Is there any way this car can beat a TII?

just had to clarify that it was confusing me
your car has like 180+ hp stock i believe (im an N/a guy so dont shoot me if im wrong) and the civic si comes with 160 hp and it is front wheel drive and an econobox. you will toast his ***.
del sol in the 8s? that isnt even a joke, it is just plain stupidity.

a del sol can run 8s w/o a whole lot of work, maybe a B18C5, T4, 300shot, and the motor work(porting, boreing, exhause, headers, etc) might get it into 11s and faster but im not sure. A B16A2 (JSpec out of a SiR2) is rated at 168hp(i think at the engine) so it should be getting near that w/ its mods. Im not 100% sure about htis but it should be close

No on the del sol they say it has no turbo or supercharger. I tried to tell it was probably more like 18sec. Yeah i now my car will beat it just thought you guys would like to hear about it. This guy is just corrupting her mind.

I asked her to race for titles, and she said that she didnt want my car. But she said that she would have to ask her husband. If he says ok then I will have a Si to mess around with.

Not a smart person, but at least it will be rewarding when you hand her a platter with her *** sitting on it and surrounded with parsley; maybe a little lemon for flavor, too. Try to convince her that her husband should ride along with her to amplify her victory

Man I wish some dumbass in a Civic/Integra would challenge my Turbo II for money! I need some money for a T66 or Haltech, preferably both though. I would say good luck but you won't need it, no Civic has anything on RX-7's man, beat his *** for me and knock some sense into them.

Heres what done to my car. Hes not spraying anything just acting like he has a BOV by making his own sound with his mouth. Ill even let my wife drive the TII, just to make them feel even more stupid.

but he doesnt have a GXL....he has a TII and this is the RX-7 forum, why else wouldnt they talk **** about everything other than a "RX-7"? this is HOME to the RX-7 owners, and thus the owners here will normally speak lowly about other cars.

I always think it's silly when people come in bitching about us "talking smack" on their other cars...
Who even cares? We're into RX-7s, you're into Civics. RX-7s are true sports cars. Civics are economy cars. If yours is quick, fine, but we don't have to like it for ourselves.

I own a TII and I have yet to see a Honda that was worthy. My friend has a 91TII with a 3 1/2" exhaust on a stock J-spec TII. He recently raced a co-worker with a 2000 Integra Type-R running 10psi. The Acura lost by at least 6-7 car lengths. Again...Honda BLOWS!!

If you can convince them to race for titles, and you're sure you're gonig to win, make it in a deed.
Translation: get little gold "seals" - ask somebody at Staples or Office Depot for them. You write up the agreement, winner gets title to losers vehicle- the POS or the 7, say this is a deed, both parties fully aware of legal consequences, blah blah, and have each of you sign next to a little seal and date it. Then, a court would even be willing to uphold the agreement, and good luck backing out of the deal. Courts generally don't mess with deeds. And you get a POS you can be ashamed to own!!

Tell them that if they put coffee cans on the end of their exhaust it makes it go twice as fast, maybe she will believe that one HAHAAHAH. If you can convince them, take some pics and post them, id love to see it :P
