Damage from Detonation?
Well I have been detonating a 12 a 1972 bridgeport for quite some time, (please dont ask How...very painful to describe). But It has not cracked a bridge, does NOT leak bad things like coolant into the rotor housing still runs but has no power. What are the possible damages done from this abuse? and is there any way to inspect or test without removal and teardown?

Cars that have suffered detonation have dents on the rotors. Makes them look like they have been hit by a weight lifter with a hammer. When you see what detonation does to the rotors you realise the apex seals do really well to stay intact when detonation occurs.

Think about it...
Normal combustion pressures are about 1000psi or so.
Detonation can cause combustion pressures to spike up to 10 TIMES HIGHER.
We're talking 10,000psi!
You think that would cause havoc?
