You need either the FC-Tune (not yet available), FC-Edit or Apexi cable/box.

The ones available are a good few hundred $$.

Have another read of my quote.. It clearly states cable/box. Take note of the comma's.

Maybe I should reword it.

I don't believe you are able to tune on the current version of FC-tune, only datalog etc. It was mentioned a few pages back, have a sift.

The datalogit software feels pretty clunky compared to FC-Tune.

When you get it be sure to logon to their yahoo group and download the latest version.
Has a few nice little features that should keep you happy until FC-Tune is completed.

Hi,

+/- keys are working now (Up/Down/PgUp/PgDown is used to navigate through the map) as well as some other map tools. I'm currently working on the auto update feature, it's not that easy to implement and has to be tested carefully. A new version might be available by thursday or friday.

Fast Hatch...
All I can say is wow. You've really got a talent (I don't even want to know what you do in the day), and I hope that you can continue to develop this stuff and support those of us who wish to use the software.
Question 1) Can I use FC Tune on a PFC that was for the S15 SR20det?
2) Can I use the Commander Pro (cable) to connect to my laptop?
3) What does it cost and how can I get it? I am in China and stuff is hard to get, so I hope that you have a download site.
4) This is hawwwwt!!!!!!!!!!! Can I use the tune in conjunction with the Display Program that KY is working on??

BTW. I should have come on here a long, long time ago.

Don't figure me the wrong way, but each time I read one your updates I wanna give you a hug. A big manly hug (yo! yo! good job, thanks man! I'm gonna go hunt something now!), but a hug nonetheless. It's cool to see dedication and ability like this. I wish I had taken my programming ability that far.

Fast Hatch,

What can I say that has not been said already? Thanks a lot for this.
WanganWizard, you can use the software withFC COMMANDER PRO, I know I will
when the software is released For nissan SR20DET engines, which brings
us to your Q about the S15. I would also like to know but I have a S14
SR20DET. Willing to Test it if needed.
The Software will not cost you a thing. The Datalogit replacement box Fast is
building will cost around or at most 200$.

Fast hatch is there anyway for you can make the program alter injector lag time over the entire fuel map? Or is that somethig that isn't possible with the PFC? Liek if I wanted N2 and P5 to have a primary lag time of .-22 but then in the other rows back to .04 is that possible?

You can fine tune the hole map with the pin volt, it's almost the same of what you're asking for.

For the RX-7 they should be labeled Leading and Trailing, the problem is that for some cars it should be labeled Premium and Regular Gas and for others just ignition map. I already have an idea how to solve that perfectly, but in the meantime I might name them 'Ignition map 1 / 2' by default and then relabel then as soon as you open a calibration.

@Dr. IfTeR / All: Should 'auto update' be set application wide and saved in the registry or set per open document? The problem is if you have calibration X in the PFC and open file Y which does not match the one in the PFC and then change a setting a part of Y will be written to the PFC. So I'd say auto update has to be turned on for every document and is by default off. If you turn on auto update without making a up/download before the program warns you that the calibration might not match.
