Hey all. I am experiencing problems connecting to two different ECU's. I am using beige Power FC FD3S4's and a FC-Datalogit with a new USB to Serial and have installed the drivers....

I am using the latest software downloads from this thread.

It's my first time attempting this so I am a newbie with the electronics stuff, so I am thinking that maybe there is something simple that I am missing...

Thoughts???

 

do you have the correct port selected under SETUP--->PORT

 

Bought a new serial to USB. Worked 100%!

 

Is there any option to alter crank trigger wheel settings?

 

OK guys, All I have are Win7 boxes available and the software will not install on any of them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to track down a copy of the software myself. I purchased a datalogit-like device from a forum member recently.

 

Does anyone have copy of newest version?
I keep on sending mail to datalogit but no reply....

FYI, this zip file indicates missing resources/won't run, and won't delete from my machine. The link at the top of this page is broken.

Is there a way to download the latest software? My computer has no DCD/CD drive.

 

Ok. you need to install open one first and replace that exe file.

I might have copy of CD.

Neither the setup or FCedit EXE files will run. Says something about dependencies, or something.

 

I'm able to run that on an otherwise fresh copy of Windows XP (and a well-used copy of Windows 7)
I expect your computer problem is unrelated and this is merely a symptom

When I double click "Setup.exe" it apears to be looking for "setup.LST" through a specific path (long string), and can't find it, but it's right in the same folder as the EXE?!

I hate PCs.

 

I think I ran Setup straight from the archive, but to safe you could unzip first and try it?
Maybe stick it all in the root of C:\ for simplicity's sake

 

Anyone know what's the deal with these guys? They go out of business? Placed an order and paid 17 days ago and zero response from them after multiple emails.

 

Same situation, no one responding, just wasted 20 bucks on registration.

 

Had the same issue. They don't respond to e-mails. Had to personally call them internationally and cancel my freaking order. Anyone who wants a new datalogit (in the US) should go through their official US distributor rx7.com. They usually have them in stock. The Datalogit guys are good at making them and engineering them, but they suck at customer service and community management.

 

That was precisely why I started making my own a while back -- hadn't had a whole lot of demand for them as of late though.
