dont give FC datalogit 20bucks. they wont respond.

im in the process of recovering my 20bucks. they should update their website by not asking for any money or bother putting contact information since they arent going to use it.

 

confirmed universal... black and beige...

I have a Power FC on my rx7 and would love to try and learn the software. I assume that file would allow me to look at the software and play around with it. (Mine is the black box)

 

yes... i've been doing the same thing. you dont even need any of the hardware...

 

How do you not need the hardware? can you just use the software and get a serial cable from laptop to pfc ecu?

 

to play with the software you don't need a datalogit, to make any adjustment to the actual car you will need a datalogit and an adapter cable from your laptop(usually a usb to serial adapter with install disc).

 

No no no. If you wanted to download the program and just see what it was like you dont need any hardware to do so. If you want to make changes to the car, then yes, you NEED all the hardware.

For example, you dont need a video camera to use video editing software. You just wont be able to edit any video but you can use the program all you want.

current only working download link, not the latest software but should work for most setups. this is for version 2.125, i run version 2.129 and as far as i know was the latest before all the links went defunct.

Let me get this straight. you do or dont need the original software that is provided with the datalogit? Can you just use one of the provided links in this thread to use the software and start tuning from there with a datalogit?

 

CORRECT! A datalogit is simply the interface that connects your PowerFC ECU with your Windows based computer! There are 2 different software changes new and old that can be used, difference is in some values/scales which is easy to see as when you update a value and it will auto scale to 4 digits instead of say 5 or 6 digit number you entered (ie. MAP scale)!

 

On the newest upload it appears that the injector setup is for 850 primary and 1300 secondary, can anyone confirm this? It is my first time looking at this, I am getting the datalogic tonight and just want to make sure everything goes smoothly.

 

Nevermind I got it, the base map was in the original rar, I was loading the sample.

 

they are a little slow to respond in my experience but they do get back to you and the guys and gals on the forum are great. lots of files too even for sr20det guys and rb guys.

 

Does anyone have a link with all the files? My friend has a datalogit with no disk.

FC-Datalogit is still responding to registration requests for used kit. I just got e-mail from them after paying the $20. Took about a week but they seem to still be in business.
