frick, i have a commander, it's an FD commander, the box itself is.... i dont know.... silver and apexi?, it's not AP engineering or whatever....

I think you need to calm down.
If you do not have the DATALOGIT BOX there is no way to connect your Power FC to a laptop end of story.
AP Engineering is the FC Apexi Power FC, it is just made to plug and play the Power FC on an FC. If your Power FC doesn't have a Yellow sticket on it then yours is a Power FC for FC natively. There should be a sticker on the side of the Power FC that has the model number on it you should get that for us.

I received an email today from Datalogit, they've just released an update for the universal software, version 2.126.
If you re-download the black box Zip file, the update is in there.

I know a lot of users on this forum have been requesting the Datalogit FC-Edit software. Well, I decided instead of multiple requests to individuals, I'd post the file as Zip files to be stickied.
To my knowledge (Someone can correct me if I'm wrong), but, these "Updates" only work if you have the original software off the FC-Edit disk.
Nevertheless, I hope these software updates help forum members out, and get rid of a lot of the "I need Datalogit Software!!" threads.
The 1.XX software is for the beige FC-Box.
The 2.XX software is for the Universal black FC-Box.

Wondering if anybody could help me out trying to figure out whats up with my FC logit. I bought a used black logit a while back, didnt get around to trying to use it till recently. Having a hard time making it work. I downloaded the software from your link, installed it on my laptop and trying to use the newest version from the zip file. But everytime I open the software and attempt to read the PFC, I keep getting an error "Invalid FC-box version response." Any idea what Im doing wrong?

I just bought a used beige box. I did not get the original software with it, so will you file work without the original install?
Another question are there any difference with the universal software? Can I use that with the beige box?

The universal software has increased functionality with regards to viewing/analyzing your maps on your computer. However, you will need to use the beige software to actually interface and load maps onto your Power FC.

Datalogit - bankrupt?
I am new here and will stay for quite some time because the information on Power-fc is truly amazing.
I tried to contact Datalogit, written to almost all of them without a reply. Though I do not have a RX7, I have a B18C with Power-fc and would love to get a datalogit.
DOes anyone know whether they have gone bankrupt?
What kind of support will i get with their current status being "below par"?

Hey I got the FC Datalogit and am using it with my PFC, but I was just wondering if there were any threads or links that you guys knew about that I could check out to learn even more? I'm just sort of confused by a few things. I'd like to do all my own tuning, but I also don't want to blow up my engine lol. Thanks
