I know a lot of users on this forum have been requesting the Datalogit FC-Edit software. Well, I decided instead of multiple requests to individuals, I'd post the file as Zip files to be stickied.

To my knowledge (Someone can correct me if I'm wrong), but, these "Updates" only work if you have the original software off the FC-Edit disk.

Nevertheless, I hope these software updates help forum members out, and get rid of a lot of the "I need Datalogit Software!!" threads.

The 1.XX software is for the beige FC-Box.

The 2.XX software is for the Universal black FC-Box.

I finally got around to creating the link to the new FC-Edit file location. I hosted in on my own server so we don't have to worry about bad links anymore. This link includes all necessary versions, so you can remove all of the other links including updates. So here goes:

They all worked for me just now.

 

Didnt work for me at 1st but i found the original (old) version then just replaced the the main file with Vegas's exe to update it.

I think if you have never had any version of it installed beore then it dont work as the original installed copy has other files included.

 

Exactly. Datalogit's way of protecting their software from piracy.

 

If you need the software, try going to the Yahoo FC-Datalogit group, you can download the full software from there and all the updates.
Plus there are sample maps from users and docs on how to tune and use the FC-Datalogit.

How do you join the group?

 

You have to register with Datalogit (submit FC-Box serial # to them) then they will provide you access to their Yahoo group. It's a private group that you have to be invited to.

I've emailed this guy countless times with the serial and reciept from rx7 .com and he has yet to respond. I've been trying to get access to the yahoo group since 2005. If anyone talks to him please have him email me: nocjayy @aim.com

Try emailing Glen directly. As far as I know, he's the guy in charge of registering the FC-Boxs. His email is glen@fc-datalogit.co.nz. I hope that helps. It took them about three weeks to actually formally invite me into the group.

As for the wait to get invited to the E-Group, it is a test of patience. They like to take their time

Sorry, the Datalogit and FC-Edit are only supported by the Windows platform.
