You can see everything from the Commander (and more) with the laptop. I only have laptop plugged in usually.

Same here, I had to re-format my computer and need to re-install beige box software.

 

Supposedly the Universal software works for both. There's a beige box option in it

Does anyone have a copy of FC-Edit I could get my hands on. I need ti for a customers car. I have to tighten up their map. It's dangerously lean.

 

I recently bought an rx7 with the datalogit in it and I wanna do some tunning but I have no software. Whats the newest or the best version and where can I download it, I tried the older links and they are no longer working.

Register your datalogit box on http://www.fc-datalogit.co.nz/register.html and you will get access to all the software. At least I think it still works like that. They have probably tightened up the software availablity due to the release of interfaces that use their sofware and pay no licence fee or anything to them.

 

I registered at the end of December, paying the $20 via paypal. Heard nothing from them until February 3rd when they requested info (serial number and that kind of stuff). I replied on February 4th and have never heard from them since. They have apparently tightened up so much that they just rip you off and don't reply to emails or deliver what you pay for.

Good luck on getting support for a used datalogit from the manufacturer. It hasn't happened for me yet.

 

I'm also having problems getting a hold of Datalogit. I paid my $20 but no word.

I bought mine with no disk. Is there somewhere where I can download the software? All the links on the thread are dead.

I'm not sure how it gave you malware. It is a .rar file with 9 files direct from C-Datalogit (0 hidden files). I just scanned it with 2 different programs and it's showing 0 malware. Are you sure it was the download and not the site or a different site?

It works and I was able to load the S/W on my XP, just know what you are clicking on!!! ;-)
