94 fd cranks but no start

Hi im new to the site but not to rotartys

This post is the same one in the new member section..i thoight it would be better to put it in both sections

I bought this 3rd gen which was sitting for 5 years.
Before it sat it started just fine
It has an apexi power fc
Upgrade turbo,Injectors , fuel pump , fmic , boost controller etc

The car cranks slow (around 250rpm) but doesnt start

We have spark
We have fuel
Fuel preasure @ 40 psi
Thr fuel pump turns on in acc mode and stays on
Theres a jumper wire in the fuel pump relay
Injectors are not stuck
It has the aem water/menthol injection but disconnected it cause it was spraying everytime we tried to start it

I do smell fuel when cranking

Since the car was sitting for a few years is it possible that the power fc lost its memort

Plz help
I never thought i would have a 3rd gen in the family and am eager to get it started

The PFC will store the tune indefinitely. It does not matter if the battery goes dead. Post up pictures of the sensor screen and monitor screen of the PFC.

Did you check the compression?
Did you change the spark plugs?

I changed the spark plugs with proper NGK leading at the bottom trailing at the top the old ones I pulled out where the ones that you find in normal cars not meant for rotary engines I've checked my injectors they are not leaking they are spraying only when told to spray I have a slow cranking starter the engine during startup is only cranking at about 250 to 310 RPM and it sounds like it's right there about to start but I can smell it that I'm completely flooding the car even though I haven't pushed on the gas pedal during startup I got this car for my brother and it was working perfectly fine could I have lost compression just from it sitting there for 4 years

Through my apexi Boost controller I found out that my injectors at startup wear at 69% which logically does not make any sense

Seals get stuck from sitting for prolonged periods. We have engines shipped to us ever spring that have stuck seals from sitting over the winter. 250-300 is normal cranking rpm.

Do a compression test and rule that out before wasting any more time

So I tried compression testing this thing.. the tester I have won't reach into the front housing but when I stick my finger in the front housing trailing spark plug hole it will blow my finger completely out of the spark plug hole and I can hear it. But the rear housing there is no compression whatsoever I feel a slight gust coming out of the trailing spark plug hole and there is no sound like the front housing

I did the pull start and had no luck.

It's official i lost compression in the rear housing.
I already started to take out the engine to do a rebuild. And since its coming out might as well get some porting done.
Does anyone have experience with racing beat street porting or does anyone know a socal rotary shop with a good rep to do the porting?

Lucky 7 is in Duarte. I have no personal experience, but I've heard good things.

Unfortunately this car was touched by Lucky 7 and their workmanship is not the greatest in my opinion.. I also know about rotary Shack but I know that guy is very very undependable even though his workmanship is great I'm just trying to find someone that does good porting
