Thank you 30mpgfc and mach.80 for your help so far. I'm getting very close to starting on my swap. I have my engine, and transmission already. Just need some more supporting parts. Can't wait to see how your swaps go as well as mine.

I went RWD for simplicity, because mounting, and I don't need power steering (manual rack).

Manual. I'm using the MT82 from a 2014 mustang.

I'm interested in how well your dual mass flywheel stands up in time.

Already ahead of you. I'm using a SPEC Stage 1 clutch and SPEC aluminum coyote (5.0 V8 Mustang) flywheel and a slave cylinder spacer to make it reach. Not interested in the crappy dual mass haha.

Good choice, you may need to double check your clutch master cylinder bore and stroke to make sure you're getting enough travel on your slave cylinder

Motor is going back in today.
Got my hat signed yesterday by my favorite Gator Eddy Piñeiro
Unfortunately my other phone broke so my picture quality has dropped from 20mp to 13mp 😥
Got a good check last week and another one coming this week so I'm out of the hole that the shitty weather threw me into. Rain + no $ = plenty of free time but no new car parts.
I found a 6' piece of 1 and ½ inch box steel at work that I think imma fabricate into my front motor mount w00t w00t.
-stay tuned

New V-Mount setup. The car was getting hot driving up the 15 minute hill.
My guess was the front mount was blocking the radiator, the condenser was blocking the radiator and with NO foam around the condenser, the air was simply going around the radiator all together. I installed foam around the radiator and around the condenser.
Then, I lowered the top of the intercooler with the intercooler pipes and couplers in the same location and the top of the intercooler conveniently aligned with the former oil cooler brackets. I made brackets for the front of the intercooler and plan on making ducting on the sides for proper forced air flow.
Hopefully this will keep it cool.
Oh, as a side note, the car only got hot after exceeding 45mph. So, I summarized that aerodynamic compression was causing all the air to go around the car instead of through the intercooler. But I digress. After all I'm a simple pilot not a Time Attack aero guy. I wish!

Good to hear Harvey didn't get the best of ya. Irma is on her way to try and **** with my corn flakes. I'll take note on your cooling issue and go ahead and plan accordingly. My build I on hold as my work is weather permitting.

Take a lil closer look at my license plate...
...I made the move. That plus getting the new job is why my project halted this past year, but now I'm up and running again. It feels good to be working on her again.

That being said, a lot of my friends were affected, but their recovering well. That's one good thing about Texas.

welp I'm in Gainesville now cuz my sister freaks out in bad weather. I'm not too fond of the area because it has a lot of low areas that are prone to flooding. Where I was was surrounded by lakes that are damn near empty.

Well, hopefully Irma will lose her stream buy the time she gets up that way. Either way be safe and hold on tight to something sturdy.
Keep me updated

I feel safer driving it, than the corolla, in bad weather. It's got full coverage.

Just checking in on you.
I'm starting my way to work. I start my trip in Cincinnati where I'm sure to see the remnants of Irma's dissipation.

All is well, literally no effects from Irma except money. I'm not going back to work till Monday 9/18, totally screwed out of a whole week of $. Might have $300 to last me till 2 weeks from now. Gotta do extra paper work associated with hurricane damage to the jobsite. Really starting to rethink my job. As far as the car is concerned I'm due to oil the 3.7 motor up to prevent rusting etc. I bought an air compressor a couple weeks ago and did a leak down test on my 325kmi corolla. Lost 10% psi through the rings and valves. I might consider leak down testing the 3.7 tomorrow. Only issue with that is I can't get the rings up to normal operating temperature so that the expansion will effect #s. basically the #s will be skewed a little lower. If I don't like the numbers I will be waiting on buying a salvage flood block from South Florida or Texas. I'll use my current block for fabrication purposes till a replacement is needed/bought. On the bright side having 2 blocks would allow me to build 1 while I drive the other, lol.
